COBOURG (September 17, 2025) – The Cobourg Police Service (CPS) is currently investigating two thefts of lottery tickets from two gas stations in the Town of Cobourg.
On September 4, 2025, police responded to a report of theft from a gas station on Division Street. At approximately 5:20 p.m., a man entered the store and while an employee turned their back, the man stole approximately 124 lottery tickets.
A similar theft occurred at a second gas station on Division Street, where approximately three lottery tickets were stolen. The suspect was seen arriving and departing the area in a navy-blue Dodge Caravan.

Police are investigating whether these incidents are connected to similar incidents in other jurisdictions. The investigation is ongoing, and police are looking to identify the suspect.
