(SUDBURY, ON) – After police received multiple traffic complaints, one person has been arrested and charged with impaired driving.
On December 15, 2024, at approximately 10:45 a.m., the Nipissing West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received multiple traffic complaints about a vehicle, driving through red lights and passing vehicles on the shoulder on Highway 17, Sudbury.
The vehicle was located, and the driver was arrested for impaired driving. As a result of the investigation, Tyler PILON, 28 years-of-age, from Markstay-Warren, was charged with, operation while impaired – drugs and dangerous operation.
The accused was release and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on January 8, 2025, in Sudbury.
The driver was issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
