(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – A London resident has been charged after reports of a disturbance on Highway 401.
On August 23, 2025, at 7:17 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to the westbound lanes of Highway 401 in Thames Centre, for the report of a disturbance between two individuals operating separate vehicles.
Investigation revealed a motorcycle rider damaged a passenger vehicle during the altercation.
As a result, Sonya ZDUNCZYC-GALASINSKI, a 28-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
· Dangerous Operation
· Assault with A Weapon
· Mischief Under $ 5,000
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice on October 2, 2025, to speak to the charges.
