(DRYDEN, ON) – On April 15th, 2025, members of Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) observed a male known to have an outstanding warrant in the area of Orvis Street in the City of Dryden. The male attempted to evade police and fled into a nearby residence.
Shortly after 8:00 pm on April 15th, 2025, members of the Dryden OPP CSCU, with assistance from the Dryden OPP Detachment, Red Lake OPP CSCU, Sioux Lookout OPP CSCU, and the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service, executed a warrant on a residence on Orvis Street in the City of Dryden.
The wanted male was located within the residence and was subsequently arrested on the strength of his outstanding warrant.
The male was wanted by police for failing to comply with a release order stemming from drug trafficking and weapons related charges from February of 2024.
As a result of the investigation, Shaun PILIPISHEN, 37-years-old, of South Gillies, Ontario has been charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

The accused has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on April 16th, 2025.
