The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a suspect wanted in an assault investigation.
On Sunday, December 15, 2024, at approximately 5:55 p.m., police responded to a call for a Person with a Knife in the York Mills Road and Yonge Street area.
It is reported that:
- the suspect and victim got into a dispute after exiting the subway station on Yonge Street
- the suspect assaulted the victim
- officers attended and investigated both parties
- the suspect fled police custody after being arrestedÂ
The suspect is described as approximately 20-years old, with black curly hair. He was last seen wearing a black puffy jacket with a white “North Face” logo on the rear right shoulder, red hoodie, black neck warmer, black and white checkered pyjama pants, and white sneakers.

Investigators are asking for anyone that witnessed the incident or has in car camera footage to please contact police.
