(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, ON) – An individual is facing impaired driving charges following a traffic stop in St. Clair Township.
On February 20, 2026, at approximately 9:20 p.m., while conducting general patrol, a member of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Kimball Road, north of Tulloch Line.
As a result of the investigation, Pary SMITH, 39-year-old of Mitchells Bay, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on April 2, 2026.
