(BRANT COUNTY, ON) – The Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested one individual following the theft of a farm tractor in Burford.
On March 7, 2025, police responded to a report of a theft in progress. A witness observed two individuals removing a tractor from a storage container on a neighboring property.
Through investigation, police determined that the owner of the property had not given permission for the removal of the tractor. Officers arrested 36-year-old Michael Munday of Norwich in connection with the incident. The accused has been charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada:
- Theft of Motor Vehicle
- Failure to Comply with Prohibition Order
- Possession of Break-In Instruments
- Break and Enter – Commit Indictable Offence
The investigation remains ongoing as police attempt to identify additional suspects.
