Meth Bust – Lance CAINES Arrested

(CALEDON, ON) – Members of the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid charges in connection to a stolen vehicle investigation.

In December 2024, the Caledon OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) conducted an investigation into stolen vehicles at a rural property in the area of McLaughlin Road and Old School Road in the Town of Caledon. The investigation led officers to execute a search warrant at that location. Two stolen vehicles were recovered, as well as an amount of methamphetamine.

As a result, Lance CAINES, 40, of Caledon, was charged with:

• Possession property obtained by crime over $5000

• Possession of a Schedule I substance – Methamphetamine

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on January 30, 2025, to answer to the charges.
