(SINGHAMPTON, ON)- An individual from Singhampton is facing impaired driving-related charges stemming from a motor vehicle collision that had occurred on County Road 124, in the Village of Singhampton in Clearview Township.
On August 13, 2025, at approximately 9:34 p.m., members of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on County Road 124 near Church Street in Singhampton.
Upon arrival, officers determined that one of the involved drivers was exhibiting signs of impairment. Witnesses reported the vehicle had been swerving across the roadway prior to the collision.
There were no injuries reported.
Kayla Fiegehen, 30-years-old, of Singhampton has been charged with the following criminal code offences:
- Operation While Impaired – Alcohol
- Operation While Impaired – (80 plus)
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on September 25, 2025.
