(LAKESHORE, ON) – One person has been charged following a collision in Belle River.
On October 27, 2025, at approximately 1:10 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded a fail to remain collision on Eleventh Street in the Municipality of Lakeshore.
Jennifer LANDRY, 38-years-old of Belle River, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act offences:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
- Fail to remain
- Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Windsor on November 13, 2025, to answer to the charges.
