The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of a Homicide investigation.
On Thursday, December 19, 2024, at approximately 12:13 a.m., police responded to a call for a Shooting that occurred at the intersection of Eglinton Avenue East and Markham Road.
It is reported that:
- the victim was walking in the area when he was shot by suspect(s) that were travelling in a vehicle
- officers arrived on scene and located the male victim who had been shot
- life-saving measures were performed, and the victim was transported to hospital by paramedics
- the victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital
The victim has been identified as Adam Christopher Moncrieffe, 34, of Toronto.
