Emma FLEGG – Impaired Driving

(CARLETON PLACE, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Richmond, ON resident with impaired driving.

Lanark County OPP observed a vehicle being driven poorly on Saturday, August 9, 2025, just after 7:30 p.m. Officers stopped the vehicle and after speaking with the female driver, the officers arrested the driver and transported the individual to the OPP detachment in Carleton Place for testing.

As a result of the investigation, Emma FLEGG, 31-years-old, of Richmond, ON, has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, September 15, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
