(THE NATION, ON) – Members of the Russell County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a male following an investigation into reported sexual offences.
On Monday, November 3, 2025, Russell County OPP received a complaint regarding possible sexual offences. After investigating the complaint, officers located and arrested the suspect in the City of Ottawa on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
42-year-old Damien Turcotte of Ottawa, Ontario was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
• Sexual Assault
• Sexual Interference
• Invitation to Sexual Touching
• Sexual Exploitation
• Fail to Comply with Prohibition Order
The accused was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody.
