Chris MASSICOTTE Was Arrested – Detials Released

(SUDBURY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged a driver after a concern citizen calls police about a possible impaired driver.

On Saturday September 28, 2025, at approximately 9:40 p.m., members from the Nipissing West (Sudbury) Detachment of the OPP responded to a possible impaired driver on Highway 17, Sudbury.

The vehicle was travelling at various speeds and swerving towards the ditch. Police located the vehicle, arrested the driver for impaired driving, and then transported the driver to the OPP detachment for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, Chris MASSICOTTE, 38 years-of-age, from Sudbury, was charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Wednesday October 22, 2025, in Sudbury.

The driver was issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
