Chatsworth Motorcycle Collision – James Robinson Arrested

(CHATSWORTH, ON)- The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid multiple charges in connection with a serious two-vehicle collision that occurred on June 23, 2025, in the Township of Chatsworth.

At approximately 10:37 a.m. on that date, emergency services responded to a collision involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle on Concession 3A between Massie Road and Holland Sydenham Townline. The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital.

On August 12, 2025, James Robinson, 37-years-old, of Owen Sound, was arrested and charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada, Highway Traffic Act, and Automobile Insurance Act:

  • Dangerous Operation Causing Bodily Harm
  • Careless Driving Causing Bodily Harm
  • Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on September 25, 2025.
