(WELLINGTON NORTH TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges Mount Forest resident with four provincial offences.
On February 16, 2025, at approximately 1:45 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were performing a traffic enforcement initiative and conducted a traffic stop on Main Street within Mount Forest.
As a result of the investigation, a 27-year-old from Mount Forest is charged under the Highway Traffic Act and the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with:
- Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
- Use plate not authorized for vehicle
- Drive motor vehicle – no licence
- Drive motor vehicle, fail to display two plates
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Provincial Offences Court – Guelph at a later date.
