20 Year Old Drunk Driver Arrested

(MISSISSIPPI MILLS TWP, ON) – – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Lanark Highlands Township resident with impaired driving.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, just after 10:30 p.m. on Highway 7 in Mississippi Mills Township.

The driver was arrested and transported to the OPP Detachment in Carleton Place for testing.

As a result of the investigation, Cameron CARLISLE, 20-years-old, has been charged with:

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

·        Speeding 1-49 km above the posted speed

·        Novice driver – B.A.C above zero

·        Young driver – B.A.C above zero

·        Drive motor vehicle with open container of liquor

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, November 9, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
