(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single-motor vehicle collision involving a tree, with it being reported that the driver was trapped inside.
On September 14, 2025, at approximately 12:30 a.m., the Wellington County OPP, alongside local emergency services, responded to a report of a single motor vehicle striking a tree on Ninth Line within the Town of Erin, with the driver being trapped inside.
Emergency Services arrived and were able to remove the driver from the motor vehicle, and they were subsequently transported to local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation, the driver, a 35-year-old of Hillsburgh is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Driving while under suspension
