(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On September 7th, 2025, at approximately 5:20 p.m. Fort Frances Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver on Highway 11.
The vehicle was located, and officers performed the necessary tests. It was determined that the driver of the vehicle was impaired. During the investigation, one of the passengers in the vehicle became confrontational with police, cussing and swearing and obstructing officers.
As a result of the investigation, Darrell LIND, 63, of Fort Frances was charged with:
· Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
· Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on November 3rd, 2025.
Andrew ENNS, 49, of Fort Frances was charged with:
· Obstruct Peace Officer
· Resist Peace Officer
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on November 3rd, 2025.
