Mathew HART Arrested Again � Assault

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) � One individual has been charged with several offences following an investigation into an assault incident.

At approximately 12:04 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an assault on Queensway West in Simcoe, Norfolk County.

It was determined that two individuals engaged in a dispute while in a vehicle, resulting in the victim being physically assaulted and the vehicle sustaining damage. Minor injuries were reported.

As a result, one individual was taken into custody without incident.

Charged with the following alleged offences is 24-year-old Mathew HART of Norfolk County:

� Assault,

� Assault with a weapon,

� Uttering threats � cause death or bodily harm,

� Fail to comply with Probation Order (two counts),

� Mischief under $5,000.

The accused was detained in custody and is scheduled to appear at a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe.
