(ZORRA TOWNSHIP, ON) – An individual from Woodstock is facing impaired driving related charges following a two-vehicle collision.

On November 18, 2025, at approximately 2:00 p.m., members of the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle collision that had occurred on Road 78 at 43^rd Line, in the Township of Zorra. Officers attended and spoke with all involved occupants. There were no reported injuries from the collision.

Jacob Manley, 27-years-old, of Woodstock was charged with:

·      Operation while Impaired – Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Careless Driving

·      Driving while Under Suspension

·      Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and 7-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on January 13, 2026.

(ZORRA TOWNSHIP, ON) – An individual from Zorra is facing impaired driving related charges after a single vehicle collision on Road 88.

On October 30, 2025, at approximately 4:30 p.m., members of the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle collision that had occurred on Road 88, in the Township of Zorra. Officers attended and spoke with the lone occupant of the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Lindsay Parker, 43-years-old, of Zorra Township, has been charged with:

·      Operation while Impaired – Alcohol

·      Operation while Impaired – Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Fail to Comply with Probation Order

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on December 9, 2025.

On October 26, 2025, at approximately 4:00 a.m., members of the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle collision that had occurred on Road 68, in the Township of Zorra. Officers attended and spoke with the lone occupant of the vehicle. There were no injuries reported as a result of the collision.

Adam Smith, 38-years-old, of Norfolk County, has been charged with:

·        Operation while Impaired – Alcohol

·        Operation while Impaired – Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·        Driving while Under Suspension

(ZORRA, ON) – The Oxford Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the public’s assistance following a report of a distraction theft at the local store, in the Township of Zorra.

On September 15, 2025, at approximately 1:00 p.m., members of the Oxford OPP detachment responded to a report of a theft on Road 74 near 33^rd Line, where two subjects attended a residence where they distracted the homeowner.

It was reported that one of the subjects stole a sum of Canadian currency while the other distracted the homeowner. Photos of the subjects are attached. The subjects departed the residence in a black Audi SUV.

The investigation indicates that this incident is part of a broader, ongoing pattern of organized distraction thefts targeting vulnerable individuals across the region. We urge all citizens to remain vigilant in public spaces, especially in crowded areas where distraction thefts are more likely to occur. Please keep your personal belongings secure and always be aware of your surroundings. If you witness any suspicious behavior or believe you may have been a victim of a pickpocketing incident, do not hesitate to report it to contact the Oxford OPP Detachment. Your information could help prevent further crimes and assist in ongoing investigations

(ZORRA, ON) – An individual from the City of London is facing impaired driving related charges after a collision at a business in Thamesford.

On May 16, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were dispatched to a report of a collision in a parking lot, at a business in Thamesford. There were no injuries reported as a result of the collision.

Joseph Newbery, 30-years-old, of the City of London, has been charged with:  

·      Operation while Impaired – Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Novice driver – B.A.C. above zero

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on June 24, 2025.
