Failure! OPP Get No Drugs In Raid #HideYourStash

(NORTH DUNDAS TWP., ON) – Two people were arrested and items associated with drug trafficking have been seized in Chesterville.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Street Crime Unit began an investigation in the area earlier this fall in relation to the trafficking of cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl in the area.

On Thursday, October 9, 2025, Community Street Crime Unit members, assisted by the OPP Canine Unit and officers with the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Detachment executed a search warrant at a residence on Church Street.

No drugs were found, but officers seized items associated with illegal drug use and trafficking.

A 38-year-old woman from Winchester and a 41-year-old man from Chesterville were arrested at the scene on outstanding warrants. Several other people located in the residence were released without charges.

Drug Bust – DITMAR & LANOUE

(WINCHESTER, ON) – A search warrant in Winchester has resulted in a drug seizure and the arrest of two people for trafficking.

The investigation began recently and led to the search warrant being executed on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at a residence on County Road 31. The search involved members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit and the OPP Emergency Response Team.

Two people were arrested at the scene, and investigators seized a quantity of suspected green fentanyl, suspected methamphetamine and crystal methamphetamine, as well as suspected methamphetamine tablets. Items typically associated with drug trafficking were also seized.

Robyn DITMAR, age 35, and Codie LANOUE, age 31, both of North Dundas Township, have each been charged with three counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.

DITMAR was held in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing on Friday, August 22, 2025. LANOUE was released following a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on September 23, 2025.

The investigation is continuing.
