Thunderous applause rang out after a Mother stood her ground pleading to keep the Wingham Complex open, questioned where $450,000 went, and outed CAO Dwayne Evans as an interloper.
‘There is one thing to do in town, and you’re shutting it down’
During the evening, CAO Evans was also accused of extreme dereliction of duty for his refusal to acknowledge public concerns, questions, emails or calls.
One Wingham Ward councilor is standing up to town staff and has demanded access to budget information that staff have been refusing to hand over. Most believe that town staff’s refusal to hand over information to council is a criminal act.
The most likely motivation for concealing this information are the recent real estate scandals, where land was sold for pennies on the dollar. Detailed financial information is expected to show some incongruities with their balance sheets. This along with current Reeve Paul Heffer’s refusal to release the appraisals on the lands they “sold” off would be irrefutable proof the last council did not act in good faith, and arrests should be made.
🚩 Town staff have now twice the cut the microphone of a Citizen when they attempt to expose the alleged real estate frauds.
At the 21Feb2023 council meeting, 23 minutes was spent considering expanding the season for the ice surface in Wingham for its hockey team. According to councilor Palmer it only costs $1,000/day for hydro to keep the ice surface. Closing the arena in Blyth would surely cover the cost. This protracted debate likely ensured the council got extra bonus money, as they get paid extra if the meeting is 2 hours or more.
Some think it wasn’t appropriate for the “Hockey Club” to ask council to force the taxpayers to subsidize their recreation, especially since so many are struggling to keep their homes due to the high taxes and collapsing real estate market. Since the council will more than likely approve the request, taxes may go up even more.
Council is expected to make a decision regarding saving the “hockey club” or the Blyth Arena at the 06Mar meeting.
Watch the video below to verify for yourself. The “hockey club” discussion starts at 30:40. Clicking on the video below should start you are the correct spot. 🚩 Council can ask the public questions, but not the other way around.
Belgrave Community Centre has been saved after council unanimously voted for “status-quo” giving it one more year of life.
Blyth is now at risk of losing all its facilities after Kevin Fascist Falconer attempt to coerce Belgrave councilors into voting to save Blyth facilities spectacularly backfired.
You must see the video below to see how he attempted to pressure councillors, voted to save the Belgrave Community Center, then attempted to make a motion and was shot down by staff, proving that even after 4 years in office Falconer doesn’t have a clue on how to do the very basics of his job. Try not to laugh when he realizes they won’t let him make a motion.
At last night’s council meeting Wingham Ward councillors were sternly warned about asking questions by Kevin “Fascist” Falconer, Blyth ward’s so-called Representative.
This is after a Wingham ward councilor wanted more information and was ignored by town staff, specifically by CAO Dwayne Evans. This echoed comments earlier in the meeting when a taxpayer confronted council about the CAO’s extreme lack of professionalism, and Dwayne’s refusal to answer or even acknowledge questions.
Current North Huron Reeve Paul Heffer confirmed on video that he will not answer any questions, or allow councillors to do so. There will be no questions, no answers, no criticism, no scrutiny and no debate. This is taxation without Representation, traditionally a precursor to civil war.
If you can’t question those who profess to have authority over you, you are not free or living in a democracy.
Please take the time to watch the meeting below to confirm the above.
A special council meeting will be held at 6pm tonight (21Feb2023) at Wingham Town. Reeve Paul Heffer is expected to answer questions after a rash of backroom real estate deals for 1% of market value. These alleged criminal acts triggered a 20% increase in taxes, cancellation of most services and virtually bankrupted Wingham.
All those that want to attend and/or ask questions should show up early.
Date: 21Feb2023 Time: 6:00pm Location: Wingham Town Hall
North Huron council has sold off 103 building lots (18 acres) with an estimated market value of $10-$20 million. The secret sale price is estimated at $47,000, based on council’s previous backroom deals. That would work out to $456/building lot.
North Huron’s recent sale of 77 acres for $200,000 ($2,597/acre) was during the peak of the real estate bubble, and was in a much more desirable location. Council is expected to have gotten less than the $2,500/acre as in their previous backroom deal, which was during the absolute height of the real estate market.
The next council meeting is 6pm, Tuesday 21 Feb at Wingham Town Hall
The agenda package has been released for Tuesday’s council meeting. In the agenda package only one person mentioned they were opposed to closing the Wingham Complex & Pool. At a previous meeting one other person spoke up, bringing the total to 2 out of 5,000 that want to keep wasting taxpayer money.
The closing of the facilities in Blyth are being credited for saving Wingham Homecoming. While virtually no one cared about the closing of the pool, arenas, section of Community trail, loss of trailer park and airport and historic Armories, millions of real estate stolen, 20% raise for council and a 20% raise in taxes, the shutting down of the beer tent was too just too far.
Council has now seen the light and is prepared to cancel all services if necessary to make sure Homecoming 2024 happens, especially Blyth which has taken far more than their fair share from the Wingham Taxpayers. NOTE: The beer tent is Homecoming’s only event anyone thinks of attending. Getting drunk down by the river is what homecoming is, and that will never change. An important part of our heritage that we must preserve at all costs.
North Huron is selling off more land in a backroom deal that was struck on 17Feb. The land was not advertised for sale, listed on MLS, and the Public was not informed. Press & Public Gallery questions are not “allowed” at council meetings, enforced by threat of arrest.
Dozens of Wingham families are losing their homes and life savings due to the extremely high tax rate and pending increase. People simply can’t afford $800-$1,000/month just in property taxes alone. The pending 20% increase is due to council giving away millions of dollars of real estate for pennies on the dollar, and over spending on buddy projects.
The pending increase has caused property values to plunge in Wingham faster than anywhere else in Canada. Wingham taxpayers have lost tens of millions in equity in their homes due to the gross mismanagement and alleged criminal activity of councillors.
Next council meeting is at 6pm, Tuesday 21Feb @ Wingham Town Hall.
It seems NH council is pulling another real estate scam to further victimize Wingham taxpayers. North Huron council is holding an “emergency” meeting 17Feb at 9am, which is closed to the public.
NOTE: This is after council repeatedly refuses to release the appraisal on the airport lands which sold for pennies on the dollar. This appraisal/“smoking gun” would prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that council did not act in good faith, the taxpayers were robbed of millions of dollars, and proof of a criminal act.
From their agenda:
“A proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board/A position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations carried on or to be carried on by or on behalf of the municipality or local board”
Not a single complaint was received by council regarding closing of the facilities in Wingham & Belgrave, according to the agenda package. Up to 4 unique complaints were received for the Blyth Arena. Usership has drastically dropped at all facilities, and continues to do so.
The closing of all facilities is hoped to limit the tax increase to around 20%, enough to fund council’s raise and town staff bonuses/raises. These closures are also required to help pay for new lucrative buddy contracts such as $2,500 per lawn cut for the cemeteries, $75,000/year.
These drastic steps are needed after millions of dollars worth of real estate was stolen from the Wingham taxpayers, and wasting of millions of taxpayer dollars on pointless projects that only benefit council’s cronies.
Next council meeting is 21Feb. Council has previously threatened anyone that asks a question with arrest.

North Huron council is considering closing the Blyth Community Center, especially after less than 1% of the Public expressed any level of concern to council. Of the 5,000 residents of North Huron, only about 40 are in favor of continuing wasting taxpayer money on Blyth while our infrastructure needs attention.
Council quickly dismissed the 40 alleged complaints, as their authenticity was clearly in question. Most of the complaints followed the exact same format, and contained a couple other tell-tale signs that one person may have sent them all. This also explains why not one of the alleged complainants attended and spoke up at the last council meeting.
The next council meeting is 21Feb2023, 6pm at Wingham Town Hall. Questions are not permitted on any topic, and only “new positive comments” will be allowed.
(Wingham, ON) At the 06Feb council meeting, North Huron councillors were flooded with complaints from taxpayers. This is after millions in real estate were stolen from the Wingham Taxpayers, decades of the highest taxes in Canada, a 20% jump in taxes, cessation of most services, and an abject refusal to answer questions, restricting comments, and the new question tax.
Town Hall is still impeding a criminal investigation into the malfeasance regarding the “sale” of Wingham Ward real estate by Blyth & E-W councillors for a fraction of market value, and taking the proceeds for their own ward’s benefit. Several attempts have been made to gain access to the appraisals of the real estate Blyth & E-W forced the Wingham Ward to sell. Town Hall wants $1,300 in cash before they hand over that public information (appraisals) the taxpayers have already paid for.
Once Town Hall is forced to hand over the appraisals, it will be absolute proof that council did not act in good faith and sold Wingham Ward assets for pennies on the dollar, triggering a 20% jump in taxes and ending of most services.
A small group of taxpayers plans to question council at the 21Feb meeting, 6pm @ Wingham Town Hall. Arrests are more than likely.
Email all of council via [email protected] with your comments, or use the contact info below.
All residents of Wingham are strongly advised to shoot video of by-law enforcement officer Nancy Small if she attempts to trespass on their property, or if she continues to falsely claim she has any authority on private property.
Nancy Small is facing allegations of trespass, criminal harassment, attempted theft, extortion, dereliction of duty, & countless Charter Rights violations and therefore is added to the Hall Of Shame
By-law enforcement officer Nancy Small still refuses to hold town staff to account for by-law infractions that put lives and property at risk. Instead she targets and harasses private citizens, while claiming she has more power than a police officer or a judge.
If you want to help take back our country, you first have to take back your own home and yards. If you can’t stand-up to the overarching bullies at town hall that say you can’t have a chicken, grow a garden, have sign in your window or have more than 4 pets, then there is no hope for you. Just get out of our way.
At last night’s council meeting a victim stood their ground and tried to convey to councilors the devastating effect their corruption, apathy, 20% tax increase and zero accountability has had on our Community.
Council completely ignored the victim, refused to answer her questions or consider her input. Please watch the first 3 minutes of the council meeting to see for yourself. This is how the council tells people to f-off and they are not welcome there. To be fair, questions have been illegal/banned at council meetings for some time now, that’s why we lost all our real estate (airport etc.) and taxes are jumping 20%.
For those that can’t afford to keep their homes, the council is helping set up a shower center for those displaced by their corruption at St. Paul’s Church. While everyone is being stripped of their life savings and dignity, council and senior staff laugh and send their victims to the showers. Don’t worry the Federal government is setting up an express lane for M.A.I.D (Murderer/Medical Assistance In Dying) for those depressed about losing their homes and dignity.
