(ONEIDA NATION OF THE THAMES FIRST NATION, ON) – Driver facing impaired driving charge as a result of a single vehicle collision investigation.
On October 19, 2025, at 2:35 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to Iroquois Road in Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation, for the report of a single vehicle collision.
Upon arrival, officers observed a single motor vehicle in the ditch at which time the driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex County OPP detachment.
As a result, Kent PARKES, a 21-year-old of West Lorne, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
ยท Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on November 20, 2025.
The Middlesex County OPP want to remind the public that if you see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver you should contact your local police authority immediately.
