Part Of Trampoline Stolen

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – It seems as though thieves will steal just about anything and a recent theft in Exeter definitely supports that notion.

Sometime between 9:00 p.m. on June 27, 2020 and 9:00 a.m. on June 28, 2020 someone entered into the backyard of a Waterloo Street residence whereupon they proceeded to steal a trampoline mat and all the springs that go with it. The property owners woke up the next morning to find the frame sitting in the backyard and nothing more. Seems like a lot of work for a relatively low pay off but these thieves jumped at the chance to get themselves a used trampoline mat.

Huron OPP is hopeful to receive some tips from the public to help solve this rather unusual theft.

Any person with information regarding this incident should immediately contact Huron OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or (519) 482-1677.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
