Sunday May 11th, 2014 at approximately 3:59 a.m. an explosion was heard in the area of 121 Morgan Avenue, Kitchener. Waterloo Regional Police, Emergency Medical Services and Kitchener Fire Department attended the scene to find a car fully engulfed in flames. The owner, who was in close proximity to the vehicle, was transported to hospital and treated for minor injuries. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by Kitchener Fire Department Fire Prevention officers. On Sunday May 11, 2014 at 11:15 a.m. a 46 year old Brampton woman drove her vehicle out of the parking lot at 1305 Bishop St, Cambridge, and across Bishop Street where she crashed into the storefront of Magnotta Wine Store. The woman suffered minor injuries and has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Careless Driving. Her vehicle was destroyed and the store sustained extensive damage.

Waterloo Regional Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in a motor vehicle collision investigation. The collision, involving a motorcycle and a car, possibly a silver, older model sedan, occurred on Saturday May 10, 2014 at approximately 3:57 p.m. at the intersection of King Street North at Hickory Street East in the city of Waterloo. The sedan left the scene prior to police arrival. The motorcycle operator sustained injuries requiring treatment in hospital. Location: MADISON AVE S and COURTLAND AVE E, KITCHENER ON Canada
On May 11, 2014 at approximately 9:05pm a motor vehicle collision occurred on Courtland Av at Madison Av in the City of Kitchener. An 18 year old Kitchener male and one passenger in a 1985 Volkswagen were travelling eastbound on Madison Av. That vehicle collided with a 2012 Toyota southbound on Courtland Av and driven by a 37 year old Kitchener male. This vehicle also had two other occupants one of who suffered minor injuries. Both occupants of the Jetta suffered minor injuries. The driver of the Volkswagen faces numerous charges as the investigation continues.
Jeffrey FACH – Drunk Driving
On May 10, 2014 at 2:54 a.m., the Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop with a motor vehicle on Wellington Street. Police spoke with the male driver and a demand was made for a roadside breath sample. He failed this test and was arrested.
Jeffrey FACH, 23 years of Hamilton has been charged with drive over 80 mg. He will appear in court on May 27, 2014.
Male wanted on warrant arrested
On May 10, 2014 at 7:22 p.m., the Guelph Police observed a male known to them to be wanted, traveling on Victoria Road on a bicycle. Police attempted to stop the male but he fled the area. A short time later police located the male on the golf course and he was arrested.
Daniel HANSON, 27 years of Guelph has been charged on the strength of the warrant with drive disqualified and flight from police. He will appear in court on May 12, 2014.
Krista ZULICH – Drunk Driving
On May 12, 2014 at 12:51 a.m., the Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop with a motor vehicle on Edinburgh Road North. Police spoke with the female driver and a demand was made for a roadside breath sample. She failed this test and was arrested.
Krista ZULICH, 25 years of Guelph has been charged with drive over 80 mg. She will appear in court on May 30, 2014.
Break and enter
On May 10, 2014 at 6:13 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a gas station located on Wellington Street to investigate a break and enter. The kiosk glass had been smashed sometime overnight and a theft is reported.

Break and enter
On May 10, 2014 at 9:32 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Verney Street residence to investigate a break and enter. The garage had been entered and a red Norco Charger bicycle is reported stolen.

The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman following a domestic disturbance in Wallaceburg yesterday.
Shortly after 12:00 p.m. police responded to an assault complaint on Dufferin Avenue. Upon the officer’s arrival, a man reported that he had been punched, kicked, bitten and stabbed in the arm with a small pair of scissors by his common-law girlfriend during an argument. The 23-year-old man required medical attention for the injury to his arm.
Just before 1:00 p.m. police located the woman and she was arrested. The 20-year-old Wallaceburg woman has been charged with assault with a weapon and two counts of assault. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man Charged with Robbery
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in connection with a robbery early this month.
On May 2, 2014 a Chatham man attended the CIBC bank on Richmond Street in Chatham to deposit money. While there, a Raleigh Township man, known to him, approached him for a cigarette. As the man took cigarettes out of his pocket, he also withdrew the envelope containing the cash to be deposited. The Raleigh Township man slapped his hand causing the money to fall to the ground. The Raleigh Township man then pushed the Chatham man, picked up the money, and rode away on the man’s bicycle. The 29-year-old Chatham man was not injured during the incident.
Yesterday afternoon, police located the 32-year-old Raleigh Township man in the area of Prince Street and Kirk Street in Chatham and he was arrested. He has been charged with robbery. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman on the CKPS Wanted List.
Last night, police located the woman on Woods Street in Chatham. She was arrested on outstanding warrants for theft under $5000, possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000, break and enter and failing to attend court x3.
The 21-year-old Raleigh Township woman has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Break and Enter in Chatham
The Chatham-Kent police are looking for information regarding a break and enter in Chatham.
Sometime yesterday between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. unknown suspect(s) entered a residence on Berry Street and stole electronics valued at $3500 and cash.

Assault Bodily Harm Arrest
A 25 year old Harwich Twp. man has been arrested and charged with Assault Bodily Harm, Assault, Possession of Prohibited Weapon (Brass Knuckles).
At approx. 3:00 a.m. on the 11th of May 14, the accused male attended a Chatham address in search of a former girlfriend. Once at the address an altercation took place with a 26 year old male victim who suffered a broken nose, lacerations and contusions. The victim did have to attend PGH for treatment but was released.
The suspect left the scene in a vehicle but was located in Chatham a short time later by CK Police.
The accused was processed and released with conditions and with a future Chatham Criminal Court date.
Robbery
Chatham-Kent Police are investigating the Armed Robbery of a male party who was walking on Edgar Street in Chatham at approx. 11:45 p.m. 9 May 14. Police on patrol were stopped by the 19 year old male victim. The lone suspect in this robbery approached the victim on a bicycle produced a knife and demanded the victim’s wallet. The victim refused and was then threatened with bodily harm. The victim handed over a quantity of cash to the suspect who then fled on the bicycle. There were no injuries.
Suspect is described as Male White, early to mid-20’s in age, riding a mountain style bike, robins blue and white plaid checkered shirt, blue jeans, has a go-tee brownish or red in colour, dark coloured baseball cap
