Margaret TEICHROEB – Drunk Driving

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing impaired charge after traffic stop on Highway 401.

On September 13, 2025, at 10:12 p.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401, the Municipality of Thames Centre, observed a suspicious vehicle, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Margaret TEICHROEB, a 40-year-old of Norfolk County, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Dangerous Operation

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on October 6, 2025.

The Middlesex OPP wants to remind the public that if you see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver you should contact the Ontario Provincial Police or your nearest police authority immediately.

$27,000 Drug Bust – Names Released

(THAMESVILLE, ON) – On January 2, 2025, just after 12:00 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Lambton County Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), in collaboration with Lambton OPP uniform members, conducted a traffic stop on Victoria Road in Thamesville as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Police seized a quantity of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, carfentanyl, and other offence-related property. 

The drugs seized in this investigation have an estimated street value of $27,700.

As a result of the investigation, Tracy BECHARD, 39-year-old of Wallaceburg, has been arrested and charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following offences:

  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for purpose of trafficking-Fentanyl
  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for purpose of trafficking-Methamphetamine

The accused was held pending a bail hearing, remanded into custody, and is set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on January 10, 2025, in the City of Chatham. 

Christopher CROSBY, 33-year-old and Emily CAMPBELL, 37-year-old, both of Wallaceburg, have been arrested and charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following offences:

  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for purpose of trafficking-Fentanyl
  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for purpose of trafficking-Methamphetamine

Both accused were released from police custody and are set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on February 13, 2025, in the City of Chatham.
