Sean MULLIN – Impaired Driving

(PUSLINCH TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charge an Etobicoke resident criminally stemming from a motor vehicle collision.

On January 26, 2025, at approximately 8:00 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP responded to a single motor-vehicle collision involving the vehicle landing into a nearby ditch on Roszell Road, Puslinch.

As a result of the investigation, Sean MULLIN, a 51-year-old of Etobicoke is charged under the Criminal Code with:

·        Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on February 7, 2025.

15 Year Old Repeat Offenders Arrested Again

(PUSLINCH, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen Side by Side All Terrain Vehicle (ATV), located the suspects, and placed them into custody, recovering the stolen vehicle.

On December 26, 2024, members of the Wellington County OPP received a report of a stolen Side by Side ATV in Puslinch.

Police attended the scene and as a result of the investigation, a 15-year-old from Cambridge, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Failure to Comply with release order
  • Break and Enter
  • Theft of motor Vehicle x2
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 x2

The accused was arrested on scene and held for Bail.

Another 15-year-old from Cambridge was also arrested and has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Break and Enter
  • Theft of Motor Vehicle x2
  • Failure to comply with release order
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 x2

The accused was arrested on scene and held for Bail.

Scott BARBISON – Drunk Driving

(PUSLINCH TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrest a Guelph resident with two criminal charges stemming from a two-motor vehicle collision.

On November 29, 2024, at approximately 6:00 p.m., members from the Wellington County OPP attended the scene of a two-motor vehicle collision on Badenoch Street East within Morriston.

As a result of the investigation, Scott BARBISON, 38-year-old of Guelph was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

There were no injuries as a result of the collision.

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on December 10, 2024.

Hugh MACDONALD – Hit & Run

(PUSLINCH TWP, ON) – Wellington County OPP charges Puslinch resident with failing to remain after a two-vehicle collision.

On October 30, 2024, just after 6:30 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a fail to remain collision at the intersection of Wellington Road 35 and Concession 2, within the township of Puslinch.

As a result of the investigation, Hugh MACDONALD, 63-years-old of Puslinch, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following:

  • Failure to stop after accident

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on December 6, 2024.

Joshua RAMIAH – Drunk Driving

(PUSLINCH TWP, ON) On September 23, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m. officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wellington County Detachment were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision, where the motor vehicle was reported to have crashed into a nearby ditch on Roszell Road, Puslinch.

As a result of the investigation, Joshua RAMIAH, 20-years-old of Cambridge, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – blood concentration 80 plus contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Novice driver – blood alcohol concentration above zero, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
  • Young driver – blood alcohol concentration above zero, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
  • Careless Driving, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph, at a later date.

Matthew B. NORDIEN – Impaired Driving

(PUSLINCH, ON) – On September 13, 2024, at approximately 11:45 p.m. officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wellington County Detachment were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Highway 6 South, Puslinch.

During the operation, a vehicle was stopped, and the driver was assessed for sobriety. As a result of the investigation, Matthew B. NORDIEN, 32 years-old of Oakville, was charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired – alcohol and drugs contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Operation While Impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus contrary to the Criminal Code

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice – Guelph, at a later date.

(PUSLINCH, ON) – On September 01, 2024, at approximately 12:30 a.m. officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wellington County Detachment were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision on Brock Road South, Puslinch.

As a result of the investigation, Vasco A. MONIZ, 27-years-old of Cambridge, was charged with:

  • Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Operation While Impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus contrary to the Criminal Code
