Ryan SMITH – Drunk Driving

(LENNOX AND ADDINGTON COUNTY, ON) – Lennox and Addington County members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person with impaired driving related charges overnight.

On Friday October 31, 2025, shortly after midnight, L&A County OPP members were advised of a collision involving a vehicle striking a residence on County Road 27 in the Township of Stone Mills. The collision did not cause any structural damage to the residence or any injuries. Police attended, and the driver was arrested.

 Ryan SMITH, a 29-year-old from Tamworth, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – over 80 mgs of alcohol
  • Dangerous operation

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on November 18, 2025. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle was impounded.

India Caught Sending Opium To Canada – Sunil KUMAR Arrested

(OTTAWA, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit has made an arrest following a Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) seizure of suspected opium, used to produce heroin.

CBSA border services officers detected a substance which tested positive for opium while examining a shipment from India at Air Cargo Operations in Toronto. They contacted the OPP and provided information regarding the package which contained over four kilograms of the illegal drug.

On Friday, October 24, 2025, officers with the Community Street Crime Unit, assisted by members of Ottawa OPP Detachment and the CBSA, executed a search warrant at the package’s destination, which was a location on Meadowlands Drive West in Ottawa. One person was identified and later arrested.

Sunil KUMAR, age 33 of Ottawa, has been charged with:

  • Importing a Schedule 1 substance
  • Traffick in a Schedule 1 substance

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Ottawa on December 2, 2025.

18 Year Old Deceased, 16 Year Old Sent To Hospital

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA, ON) – Members of the Wellington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a single-vehicle collision that resulted in a fatality. 

On Thursday, October 30, 2025, at approximately 4:00 p.m., OPP officers, Paramedic Services, Ornge and Fire Services responded reports of a collision on Eastview Road in Guelph-Eramosa Township.

As a result of the incident, an 18-year-old male was pronounced deceased at the scene, and a 16-year-old male was transported to a Trauma Centre in Hamilton with non-life-threatening injuries. Eastview Road between Davis Street and Jones Baseline remains closed as cleanup efforts are underway.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team is assisting with the investigation.

Cocaine & Meth Bust – Names Released

(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested numerous people after executing a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) warrant at Tokyo Crescent residence on October 29, 2025.  

Police seized approximately 2.4 grams of suspected cocaine, approximately 36 grams of suspected Fentanyl, approximately 17 suspected Hydromorphone capsules, approximately 70 suspected methamphetamine tablets, approximately 42 suspected buprenorphine tablets, a prohibited crossbow, cash, digital scales, packaging materials, and multiple cell phones. The approximate street value of the drugs is $8,000.    

The OPP’s Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), Emergency Response Team (ERT), and the United Chiefs and Councils of Manitoulin (UCCM) Anishnaabe Police Service Canine Unit were involved with the investigation and six people were arrested and charged with numerous offences.

Curtis BOWLES, 34-years-old, from Elliot Lake was charged with:

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid (Fentanyl)

• Fail to comply with Probation Order

Jason GUY, 40-years-old, from Elliot Lake was charged with:

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid (Fentanyl)

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid (other than heroin) 

• Unauthorized possession of weapon

Lee WESTLEY, 37-years-old, from Elliot Lake was charged with: Fail to comply with Undertaking.

Larissa RICHER, 31-years-old, from Elliot Lake was charged with: Fail to comply with Undertaking.

These accused persons are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on December 11, 2025.

Micheal MCNEELANDS, 43-years-old, from Elliot Lake was charged with:

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid (Fentanyl)

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid (other than heroin) 

• Unauthorized possession of weapon

• Failure to comply with Undertaking

This accused person was held in custody and was scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justic Bail Court in Blind River on October 30, 2025.

Paul HAMILTON, 41-years-old, from Elliot Lake had an outstanding arrest warrant from Huronia West OPP and was held in custody as a result.

Shooting Sends Two To Hospitals – SINGH, SINGH & VIRK Arrested

(DUFFERIN COUNTY) – The Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged three individuals with firearm-related offences following an investigation.

On October 29, 2025, Dufferin OPP officers responded to a local hospital where a male was being treated for gunshot wounds. During the investigation, officers determined that the incident had occurred in another jurisdiction. They also learned that a second individual had attended a Brampton-area hospital with similar injuries.

While at the hospital, officers identified a suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, a handgun was located inside the vehicle, and the driver was taken into custody.

As a result, Loverpreet SINGH, 25-year-old, from Winnipeg has been charged with:

•      Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm

•      Careless storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or ammunition

•      Unauthorized Poss of a Firearm

•      Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm

•      Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose

•      Occupant of Motor Vehicle knowing there was Firearm

•      Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition

Ramneek SINGH, 25-year-old, from Brampton has been charged with:

•      Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm

•      Careless storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or ammunition

•      Unauthorized Poss of a Firearm

•      Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm

•      Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose

•      Occupant of Motor Vehicle knowing there was Firearm

Navjit VIRK, 49-year-old, from Paris has been charged with:

•     Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition

Paul STEWART Was Arrested

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing multiple charges after traffic stop on Highway 401.

On October 29, 2025, at 11:25 p.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol in the westbound lanes of Highway 401, the in the Municipality of Thames Centre, observed a suspicious vehicle, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Paul STEWART, a 43-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:

  • Operation while impaired – drugs
  • Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code
  • Driving while under suspension
  • Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in London on November 27, 2025, to speak to the charges.

Home Invasion In Mount Forest – Ashley HOTCHKISS & Paul SMYTH Arrested

(WELLINGTON NORTH TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrest and charge two individuals in connection with a break and enter within Mount Forest.

On October 29, 2025, at approximately 8:30 a.m., the Wellington County OPP were dispatched to an active break and enter which occurred at a local vacant residence on Birmingham Street West within Mount Forest.

As police arrived on scene, and as a result of the investigation, Ashley HOTCHKISS, a 33-year-old of Arthur is charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Break, enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offence
  • Enter premises when entry prohibited
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order (two counts)

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Additionally, Paul SMYTH, a 49-year-old of Mount Forest is charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Break, enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offence
  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance – methamphetamine
  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance – cocaine

The accused has since been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on December 5, 2025.

Michael JANOZESKI Was Arreted – Details Released

(LONDON, ON) – Driver facing refusal charge after traffic stop on Highway 401.

On October 29, 2025, at 2:04 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol in the westbound lanes of Highway 401, the in the City of London, observed a suspicious vehicle, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Michael JANOZESKI, a 31-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on November 25, 2025.

Another Police Cruiser Collision

(ORILLIA, ON) – The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged two individuals after a vehicle struck a police cruiser that was at the scene of a previous motor vehicle collision.

On October 29, 2025, just before 10:00 pm, an officer was stationary at Atherley Road near Highway 12 assisting with traffic control from an earlier motor vehicle collision while the intersection was being cleaned. While the officer was out of the vehicle directing traffic, they observed a recreational vehicle (RV) travelling at a high rate of speed towards the cruiser. The RV ultimately collided with the police cruiser, causing significant damage, and then proceeded towards the other vehicles and workers in the area. Numerous members of the Orillia OPP, with assistance from Rama First Nations Police Service, began following the suspect vehicle on Highway 12 towards Ramara Township.

The RV was located a short time later and two parties were arrested. The occupants of the RV were both transported to a local hospital for assessment, and were cleared with minor injuries. Both involved parties are facing various criminal charges.

Christopher DRAPER, 41-year-old of No Fixed Address, has been charged with the following:

–      Dangerous operation (CC) – three counts,

–      Flight from peace officer (CC) – two counts,

–      Failure to stop after accident (CC),

–      Mischief Over $5,000 (CC) – two counts,

–      Assault Peace Officer with a weapon (CC) – two counts,

–      Failure to comply with undertaking (CC), and

–      Failure to comply with release order (CC).

Amanda HUSTLER, 38-year-old of Orillia, has been charged with the following:

–      Failure to comply with release order (CC) – two counts.

Both parties are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie on today’s date.

Members of the Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) Unit attended the various scenes along Highway 12 to process them as part of the investigation, and the area has since been fully reopened.

Drug Bust – Names Released

(DUFFERIN COUNTY) – Officers from the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed search warrants at residences in Orangeville and Concord, as well as on three vehicles. During the operation, police seized a quantity of drugs, cash, cell phones, various weapons, and a vehicle. Two individuals were arrested in connection with the investigation, along with three others who were wanted on separate warrants.

In the fall of 2024, the Dufferin OPP launched a drug trafficking investigation targeting the town of Orangeville, based on information received by police. On October 28, 2025, members of the Dufferin OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the Caledon CSCU and Dufferin Platoon officers, executed several search warrants. The operation resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of multiple items.

As a result, Jaleel Kweku Boayke LEVY, 33-year-old, from Barrie has been charged with:

•      Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

•      Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)

•      Poss of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000 – in Canada

As a result, Donald SINCLAIR, 49-year-old, from Orangeville has been charged with:

•      Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

•      Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)

•      Poss of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000 – in Canada

The following items were seized during the investigation:

Oxycodone “Tec” pills

 Fentanyl

 Assorted stolen power tools

 Various weapons

Sexual Assault -Muhammet KAMACIHAN Arrested AGAIN! #3Strikes

(SAULT STE. MARIE, ON) – On October 23, 2025, at approximately 3:10 p.m., the Sault Ste. Marie and East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Units made an arrest following a sexual assault investigation. 

The investigation began on September 30, 2025 when police received a complaint of a sexual assault, which occurred on Whitefish Island in Batchewana First Nation. Extensive police investigation and canvassing revealed the identify of the accused.

As a result, Muhammet KAMACIHAN, 33 years-of-age, of Searchmont was charged with:

  • Sexual assault
  • Fail to comply with probation order – two counts

The accused was held for a bail hearing, and remains in custody.

James MAW – Drunk Driving

(PICTON, ON) – Officers with the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged their sixth impaired driver for the month of October.

On Thursday, October 30, 2025, around 3:00 a.m., officers were conducting a RIDE program in Picton, when a motorist approached officers.

An approved roadside alcohol screening device was utilized. As a result, the individual was arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.

James MAW, age 33 of Picton, has been charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on November 26, 2025.The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The OPP is committed to removing impaired drivers from local roadways and motorists can expect to see additional RIDE programs as holiday season approaches.

Connor DAVIES Arrested Following Break & Enters

(MUNICIPALITY OF DYSART ET AL, ON) – Members of the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged an individual in connection with a series of break and enters in the Haliburton area.

On September 14, 2025, officers responded to a break and enter at a restaurant on Highland Street in Haliburton. The suspect had forced entry through the front door, stole a small amount of cash, and fled the scene.

On October 21, 2025, police were called to another business on Highland Street following a report of a break and enter. Investigators determined that the suspect had entered the premises overnight between October 19 and 20, stealing cash and clothing.

The following day, on October 22, the same business was targeted again. The suspect stole additional cash and property before fleeing prior to police arrival.

As a result of the investigation, on October 28, 2025, Haliburton Highlands OPP arrested and charged Connor DAVIES, 29, of Haliburton with the following: 

·        Break and enter commit indictable offence – three counts

·        Theft Under $5000 – three counts

Further investigation linked the accused to additional incidents in the area. On September 20, 2025, three businesses were broken into, including two on Highland Street and one on Maple Avenue. In each case, the suspect forced entry and stole cash and other items before fleeing.

The accused faces additional charges of:

·        Break and enter commit indictable offence – two counts

·        Break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence

·        Theft Under $5000 – two counts

The accused remains in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay.

3 Facing Murder Charges – No Body Found

(SMITHS FALLS, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid murder charges against three people in connection with a missing person case in the Smiths Falls area.

Robbie THOMSON was reported missing in October 2023. His body has not been located, but the investigation has determined that THOMSON was the victim of a homicide.

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, as a result of the ongoing investigation, members of the Lanark County OPP Crime Unit, Smiths Falls Police Service, the OPP Emergency Response Team and OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit arrested three people. Kingston Police assisted with one of the arrests.

The following individuals have each been charged with one count of first-degree murder, under section 235(1) of the Criminal Code: 

  • Christopher FENTON, age 48 of Montague Township
  • Erin MACKIE, age 40 of Montague Township
  • Joshua BELFIORI, age 34 of Kingston

The accused remain in custody and are scheduled to appear for bail hearings before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Thursday, October 30, 2025.

The investigation by the Lanark OPP, in partnership with the Smiths Falls Police Service, is continuing, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.

Robert YOUNG – Drunk Driving

(GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – A Flesherton resident is facing impaired driving and other charges following a single motor vehicle collision on 8th Concession A, west of Grey Road 2 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

On October 29, 2025, at approximately 3:28 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of a single motor vehicle collision. The vehicle had three occupants, all of whom sustained minor injuries.

Robert YOUNG, 30-years-old, of Flesherton, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Drive No Licence – Highway Traffic Act
  • Dangerous Operation – Highway Traffic Act
  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol – Criminal Code
  • Operation While Impaired (80 Plus) – Criminal Code

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment were initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on November 20, 2025.
