Mitchel YEARLY – Drunk Driving

(HUNTSVILLE, ON) – Officers of the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) are always looking for criminal driving behaviour. 

On September 30, 2025 at 12:24 a.m. police were on patrol on Main Street West in Huntsville where they observed pick-up truck driving erratically and well below the posted speed limit.

Once the vehicle was stopped as part of a sobriety traffic stop, the officer detected an odour of alcohol and suspected the driver had alcohol in his body.  The driver provided a roadside alcohol screening sample and registered a Fail.

As a result of the investigation, Mitchel YEARLY, 25 years old of Huntsville Ontario, has been charged with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Novice driver – B.A.C. above zero

·      Driver – fail to properly wear seat belt

The accused was released and is to appear on November 4, 2025 before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge.

The accused was also issued a 90 Administrative Driver’s License Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

Man Arrested Twice in One Day: OPP Nab Suspect for Shoplifting, Then Alleged Knife Incident #3Strikes

(HUNTSVILLE, ON) – Huntsville O.P.P. have arrested a male who is responsible for multiple offenses.

On September 18, 2025, a male was involved in a shoplifting incident at the Freshmart in Port Sydney Ontario where alcohol and other food items were taken. The male was identified on September 30, 2025 and was arrested for his involvement. The male was released from custody with a pending court date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Ontario.

Later in the day of September 30, 2025 at approximately 2 p.m., Huntsville O.P.P. officers responded to a report of a male brandishing a weapon thought to be a knife, in the area West Road in Huntsville.  

The investigation revealed the suspect to be the same male arrested and released earlier in the day.  Although the suspects behaviour was aggressive, no members of the public were injured.

Witnesses provided valuable information and as a result of the investigation the male was located and arrested without incident.

At this time, the accused, Saverio CERRA, 47 years old of Huntsville Ontario has been charged with:

·      Assault with a Weapon

·      Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose

·      Theft under $5000

The accused was held in custody and will appear in Bail Court before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Ontario on October 1, 2025. 

The Huntsville O.P.P. want to thank all witnesses and advise there is no concern for public safety.

Violent Robbery – Repeat Offender Arrested Again – Todd MEGRATH #3Strikes

(RENFREW, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has made a quick arrest after a robbery in Renfrew.

On Monday, September 29. 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., officers with the Renfrew Detachment responded to a reported robbery at a convenience store on O’Brien Street, near Eighth Street.

A male had entered the store, assaulted an employee and fled with stolen goods. The employee was not seriously hurt. The male then returned to the store just before officers arrived but again fled on foot.

Officers located the individual nearby and arrested him. They seized a knife and recovered the stolen property.

As a result of the investigation, Todd MEGRATH, age 46 of Horton Township, has been charged with:

  • Robbery with violence
  • Assault – two counts
  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon
  • Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order – seven counts
  • Failure to comply with an undertaking
  • Fail to comply with a probation order – two counts

The accused was held in custody and was scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke for a bail hearing on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

Child Porn & Sexual Assault Charges For Douglas BEEMER #PervertAlert

(ORILLIA, ON) – The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged one male with numerous child related sex offences and are calling on the public’s assistance in identifying the victims involved.

On August 10, 2025, shortly after 12:00 a.m. members of the Orillia OPP received information regarding a pornography offence involving a minor. Orillia OPP began an investigation into the accusations. On Thursday September 18, 2025, The Orillia OPP Major Crime Unit attended an address in the Township of Ramara and arrested one male party.

As a result of this investigation; Douglas BEEMER, 34 year-old, of the Township of Ramara is charged with:

  • Sexual Assault – two counts
  • Sexual Interference – two counts
  • Access any Child Pornography
  • Makes, Prints, Publishes or Possession for the Purpose of Publication Any Child Pornography
  • Possession of Child Pornography
  • Imports, Distributes, Sells or possesses for the Purpose of distribution or sale of any Child Pornography

The accused was remanded into custody.

Bryan RUNSTADTLER Facing Numerous Charges

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges local resident with 10 charges, stemming from an impaired driving investigation.

On September 29, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Wellington County OPP were conducting a proactive traffic enforcement initiative, when a motor vehicle was observed parked on the side of the road of Wellington Road 29, Centre Wellington Township, with their turn signal on, and the driver slumped over.

As a result of the investigation, Bryan RUNSTADTLER, a 57-year-old of Guelph-Eramosa Township, is charged under the Criminal Code, the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act, and the Highway Traffic Act with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code
  • Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Other drugs
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000
  • Driving while under suspension (four counts)
  • Use plate not authorized for vehicle

Additionally, the accused was wanted by a neighbouring police service and was turned over on their charges, and ultimately held in police custody, pending a bail hearing.

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a 45-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on November 7, 2025.

Fatal Tractor Rollover

(SOUTH DUNDAS TWP., ON) – One person is deceased after a tractor rolled over in South Dundas Township.

On Monday, September 29, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m., members of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Cornwall-SD&G Paramedics responded to the scene on a trail near the intersection of Caughnawaga Road and Forest Road, northwest of Morrisburg.

Individuals had been walking on the trail when they located the tractor with an individual pinned underneath. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has been identified as a 79-year-old from South Dundas Township.

The initial investigation by the SD&G OPP and the OPP TIME (Traffic Incident Management Enforcement) team found that the tractor had left the trail and rolled over, pinning the operator, resulting in fatal injuries.

Kwe GUI Arrested After Going Wrong Way On City Streets

(OTTAWA, ON) – Members of the Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid impaired driving charges against an individual from Ottawa after they were observed attempting to drive the wrong way down city streets.

Shortly after 4:00 a.m. on September 30, OPP members observed a vehicle making a wrong way turn on Isabella St. Officers stopped the vehicle and believed the driver to be under the influence of alcohol. A roadside screening device was utilized, which resulted in the driver being brought back to Ottawa Detachment for further testing.

As a result, Kwe GUI, 24 years of age, faces the following charges:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused had his drivers licence suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days. Gui is set to appear in an Ontario Court of Justice in Ottawa at a later date.

Robert JOHNSTON Arrested At RIDE

(TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) – A driver was arrested after attempting to avoid a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program checkpoint in Temiskaming Shores.

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a RIDE program on Lakeshore Road.

At approximately 10:15 p.m., officers observed a vehicle attempting to avoid the checkpoint. A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver displayed signs of alcohol impairment. The driver was arrested and transported to the Temiskaming OPP Detachment for further testing.

The driver, Robert JOHNSTON, 35 years-old, of Temiskaming Shores, has been charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury on October 15, 2025.

The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days under the Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Another Motorcycle Collision

(WEST PERTH, ON) – One person is injured following a single motor vehicle collision in the Municipality of North Perth.

On September 30, 2026 the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Perth County Paramedic Services and North Perth Fire Department, responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Perth Road 173 and Perth Line 72.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. the lone occupant of the motorcycle lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. The driver sustained serious injuries and was to a local trauma centre.

The intersection of Perth Road 173 and Perth Line 72 will remain closed while police continue their investigation. Updates will be provided as they become available.

17 Year Old Deceased Following Collision

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Middlesex County OPP investigating a fatal collision in Middlesex Centre.

On September 29, 2025, at 1:04 p.m., emergency services including members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and Middlesex Centre Fire, were dispatched to Medway Road between Adelaide Street North and Richmond Street, Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of a serious collision involving two vehicles.

Early investigation revealed a sport utility vehicle (SUV) travelling eastbound, crossed the centre line and collided with a grain truck travelling in the westbound lane.

The driver of the SUV, a 17-year-old of Thorndale, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the grain truck suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team are on scene to assist with the investigation.

Medway Road is anticipated to remain closed for the next few hours.

18 Year Old Facing Assault Charge

(DRUMMOND-NORTH ELMSLEY, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following a call to a party in Drummond-North Elmsley Township.

Lanark County OPP officers responded to a residence on Saturday, September 27, 2025, just after 11:30 p.m., after receiving a complaint that a large group of people had been pepper sprayed. It was also discovered that the individual engaged in a physical altercation prior to fleeing the area. The individual was later stopped by Ottawa Police.

As a result of the investigation, Jasper ROHANI 18 years-old, of Ottawa, has been charged with:

·      Administer a noxious thing

·      Assault with a weapon

·      Unauthorized possession of a weapon

 The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, October 27, 2025.

Brandon Watts-Goveia Arrested Again & Facing Numerous Charges #3Strikes

(LANARK COUNTY) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Smiths Falls resident with numerous offences after responding to multiple calls for service involving a vehicle in surrounding municipalities.

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, just after 11:00 p.m., the OPP was called by Kingston Police to assist in locating a vehicle that had been involved in several collisions in their area. The vehicle was observed in Smiths Falls before it fled. 

Just after 4:30 a.m., the OPP received a call from a resident in the Town of Perth reporting that an individual had stolen his vehicle before crashing it into a pole. The owner was assaulted during the theft. The male then fled in the same vehicle police had been looking for earlier.

A short time later, the OPP was called to a residence just east of Perth for a suspicious male on the property who arrived in the wanted vehicle. Police attended, located and arrested the male.

Brandon Watts-Goveia, 23-years-old, has been charged with:

·      Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

·      Robbery with violence

·      Possession of prohibited device for a dangerous purpose

·      Trespassing at night

·      Flight from a peace officer

·      Mischief under $5000

·      Failure to comply with a release order – three counts

·      Identity theft – obtain or possess another person’s identifying information

·      Possession of a stolen credit card

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and was remanded to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Wednesday, October 1, 2025

Train Collision – Alcohol A Factor

(DRUMMOND-NORTH ELMSLEY TWP, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an Ottawa resident with numerous offences following a collision with a train in Drummond-North Elmsley Township.

Lanark County OPP responded to a serious collision on train tracks at Station Road on Saturday, September 27, 2025, just after 3:45 a.m. Prior to the collision, OPP had received a traffic complaint involving the vehicle. The driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was arrested.

As a result of the investigation, Sierra ZERON-ROBB, 39-years-old, of Ottawa, has been charged with:

·      Failure or refusal to comply with breath demand

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol

·      Assault a peace officer – three counts

·      Common Nuisance – endanger life

·      Fail to give way to railway equipment at a road crossing

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, October 27, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

John MCDONALD Was Arrested Again! #3Strikes

(CARLETON PLACE, ON) – The Lanark Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a robbery in Carleton Place.

Lanark County OPP was called to a business on Townline Road at approximately 11:30 p.m. on September 27, 2025, when it was reported that a robbery had taking place. Two men entered the business and threatened the employee. The males fled with alcohol, cigarettes, and various food items.

One male was identified and later arrested.

John MCDONALD, 38-years-old, is charged with:

·      Fail to comply with probation order

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and was remanded to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, September 29, 2025

Perth Pursuit Ends in Bush Arrest – Murray Faces 11 Charges

(DRUMMOND-NORTH ELMSLEY TWP, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Drummond-North Elmsley Township resident after a vehicle fled an attempted traffic stop.

On Friday, September 26, 2025, just after 9:15 p.m. officers on patrol on Gore Street in the Town of Perth observed a vehicle with numerous equipment violations. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but it fled at a high rate of speed.

A short time later the same vehicle was observed turning onto Wildlife Road in Drummond-North Elmsley Township where it was abandoned in a driveway and the driver fled into the bush. Lanark County OPP with the assistance of OPP Canine unit and OPP Emergency Response Team members located an individual he was taken into custody.

Trever MURRAY, 23-years-old, has been charged with:

·      Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking

·      Dangerous operation

·      Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

·      Fail to comply with probation order – three counts

·      Operation while prohibited – two counts

·      Flight from peace officer

·      Unauthorized possession of a weapon

·      Drive with improper headlight

·      Drive while under suspension

·      Use plate not authorized for vehicle

·      Drive motor vehicle, fail to display two plates
