Drug Bust: Jahvon LASALLE & Kairos LIDDIARD-COULL

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – Two individuals have been charged following a drug trafficking investigation led by the Haldimand/Norfolk Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU). One of the accused is also facing several additional charges related to a firearm-related incident on Kent Street North in Simcoe.

On Friday, January 16, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m., members of the OPP Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad arrested two individuals at a Baldwin Street location in Tillsonburg, Oxford County, in connection with a Norfolk County drug trafficking investigation led by the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP CSCU. One of the individuals was also wanted on an outstanding warrant after being identified as a suspect in an incident involving a firearm at a residence on Kent Street North on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

During a search of the individuals, officers seized suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine, along with Canadian currency and a loaded firearm.

As a result, 25-year-old Jahvon LASALLE of Brantford, Ontario, has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Forcible confinement – three counts,
  • Robbery using firearm (restricted or prohibited) – two counts,
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm – two counts,
  • Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose – two counts,
  • Possession of firearm contrary to prohibition order – two counts,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order – two counts,
  • Disobeying order of court – two counts,
  • Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court,
  • Pointing a firearm,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin),
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine,
  • Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code,
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada.

Also charged is 21-year-old Kairos LIDDIARD-COULL, of no fixed address, with the following alleged offences:

  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm,
  • Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin),
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order,
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada.

The accused remain in custody and are scheduled to attend a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Christopher TAYLOR Was Arrested Again

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged in connection with a shoplifting incident in Simcoe.

On Monday, January 12, 2026, at approximately 8:45 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported theft at a business on West Street in Simcoe.

The investigation determined that the individual entered the store, concealed merchandise, and left the premises on foot without making any attempt to pay.

Officers later located the suspect on Kent Street North in Simcoe and took the individual into custody without incident.

As a result, 34-year-old Christopher TAYLOR of no fixed address has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Theft under $5,000 – shoplifting,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Richard WIGHT Was Arrested Again

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged following an investigation into a mischief incident in Simcoe.

On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at approximately 8:19 p.m., a member of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol when they observed an individual enter a business on Norfolk Street South in Simcoe. While inside the establishment, the individual was seen interfering with an appliance.

The individual was subsequently taken into custody without incident. Further investigation determined that a quantity of Canadian currency had been stolen during the incident.

As a result, a 34-year-old Richard WIGHT of no fixed address has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Mischief – obstructs, interrupts or interferes with the lawful use, enjoyment or operation of property,
  • Theft under $5,000,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order (two counts).

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

Drug Bust – Names Released

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – Two individuals have been charged as a result of a drug trafficking investigation led by the Haldimand/Norfolk Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU).

On Sunday, January 11, 2026, at approximately 11:09 a.m., members of the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP CSCU, with assistance from Norfolk County OPP officers, conducted a traffic stop on Ireland Road in Simcoe as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. The passenger was taken into custody without incident.

As a result of a search of the individual and vehicle, officers seized a quantity of suspected cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, Canadian currency, and drug-related paraphernalia. The driver was also taken into custody without incident. A subsequent search led to the seizure of suspected MDMA (ecstasy).

Charged with the following alleged offences is 36-year-old Kevin COLLINS of Norfolk County:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin),
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine,
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Monday, January 12, 2026.

Also charged is 68-year-old Paul SAUCIER, of Norfolk County, with the following alleged offences:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin),
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance – methylenedioxyamphetamine (ecstasy),
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

Emily GASTON & Nicholas CURRAH Were Arrested

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – Two individuals have been charged in connection with separate impaired driving investigations.

On Monday, January 5, 2026, at approximately 7:41 a.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting a suspected impaired driver near the intersection of Kent Street North and Young Street in Simcoe.

Officers located the vehicle at the intersection and, following an interaction with the driver, took the individual into custody without incident.

As a result, 38-year-old Emily GASTON of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

In a separate incident, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at approximately 7:22 p.m., a Norfolk County OPP officer was patrolling Hillcrest Road in Simcoe when a speeding vehicle was observed.

Following a traffic stop and the administration of a roadside sobriety test, the driver was taken into custody without incident.

As a result, 30-year-old Nicholas CURRAH of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs,
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),
  • Speeding 1 – 49 km/h over posted limit,
  • Possess more than one licence,
  • Fail to have insurance card.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

Brendan STEWART & Brandon MOREAU

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – Two individuals have been charged in connection with a theft investigation in Simcoe.

On Thursday, January 8, 2026, at approximately 1:12 a.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with assistance from the West Region OPP Emergency Response Team and the West Region OPP Canine Unit, responded to a report of two individuals breaking into a vehicle on Decou Road in Simcoe.

Officers located one of the suspects at a location on Decou Road shortly after 1:20 a.m., while the second suspect was located at another location on Decou Road shortly before 2:00 a.m. Both individuals were taken into custody without incident.

The investigation further determined that the suspects had also targeted vehicles nearby on Willow Drive.

As a result, 18-year-old Brendan STEWART of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Theft under $5,000 – two counts,
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – two counts.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Also charged was 23-year-old Brandon MOREAU of Norfolk County, with the following alleged offences:

  • Theft under $5,000 – two counts,
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – two counts.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

Joshua BARREIRA Was Arrested Again #3Strikes

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged in connection with a neighbour dispute in Simcoe.

On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at approximately 4:29 a.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported neighbour dispute on Highway 3 in Simcoe.

The investigation determined that an interaction occurred between two individuals after one of them unlawfully entered onto the other’s property. It was further determined that the same individual had previously threatened the other person.

As a result, 37-year-old Joshua BARREIRA of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Trespassing at night,
  • Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.

Brady MYERS Was Arrested Again

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged following an investigation into a property damage incident in Simcoe.

On Friday, January 2, 2026, at approximately 9:58 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported dispute at a residence on Thomson Road in Simcoe.

The investigation determined that an interaction occurred between two individuals at the location, resulting in damage to the residence and to property belonging to the victim.

As result, 33-year-old Brady MYERS of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Mischief – destroys or damages property,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

Brittnee CARRUTHERS – Drunk Driving

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged following an impaired-driving-related collision investigation near Villa Nova.

On Saturday, January 3, 2026, at approximately 8:12 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a sedan on County Line, just outside of Villa Nova.

The investigation determined that the vehicle was travelling along County Line when it left the roadway, rolled over, and came to rest in a field. No injuries were reported.

Officers located the driver at the scene and, following a roadside sobriety test, took the individual into custody without incident.

As a result, 35-year-old Brittnee CARRUTHERS of Haldimand County was charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),
  • Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

Levi VANDENHEUVEL – Drunk Driving

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged in connection with an impaired driving-related collision investigation near Teeterville.

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, at approximately 1:50 a.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck on Kelvin Road, just outside of Teeterville.

The investigation determined that the vehicle was travelling on Kelvin Road when it left the roadway and entered a ditch. No injuries were reported.

Officers located the driver at the scene and, following a roadside sobriety test, took the individual into custody without incident.

As a result, 18-year-old Levi VANDENHEUVEL of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, January 6, 2025.

Brent MILLARD & Tracey TAYLOR Were Arrested

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – Two individuals have been charged following separate impaired driving investigations.

On Saturday, December 6, 2025, at approximately 8:07 p.m., a Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer conducted a traffic stop on Norfolk Street North in Simcoe.

After speaking with the driver, the individual was taken into custody without incident.

As a result, 58-year-old Tracey TAYLOR of Hamilton was charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs,
  • Dangerous operation,
  • Obstruct Peace Officer.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

On Sunday, December 7, 2025, at approximately 11:51 p.m., the Norfolk County OPP responded to a 9-1-1 call regarding a suspected impaired driver on Queensway West in Simcoe.

Officers located the driver at a nearby address and, following an interaction, took them into custody without incident.

As a result, 60-year-old Brent MILLARD of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs,
  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

Dalton CHANYI Was Arrested Again & Facing Numerous Charges #3Strikes

(NORFOLK COUNTY) – One individual is in custody following a Criminal Code Search Warrant at a Norfolk County address.

On December 4, 2025, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), along with members of the Haldimand Norfolk Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed a Criminal Code Search Warrant at a residence on McDowell Road, Simcoe.

Officers located and seized several items of stolen property, prohibited weapons, replica firearms, Canadian currency, a quantity of suspected illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia.

The value of the seized items is over $15,000.

As a result of the investigation, Dalton CHANYI, 29-years-old of Simcoe has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition order (two counts)
  • Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose (two counts)
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 (two counts)
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 (three counts)
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (two counts)
  • Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime (two counts)
  • Disobeying Court Order
  • Fail to comply with Release Order

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on December 9, 2025.

Wyatt DOUGLAS – Break & Enter

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged in connection with a break-and-enter investigation in Simcoe.

On Saturday, November 22, 2025, at approximately 3:56 p.m., the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break-and-enter in progress on Orchard Avenue in Simcoe.

The investigation determined that an individual was attempting to gain entry into a garage on the property.

Officers located the suspect at the scene and took them into custody without incident.

As a result, 25-year-old Wyatt DOUGLAS of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

Matthew ACUNA – Impaired Operation

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – A proactive traffic stop by an officer led to an individual being charged with driving-related offences and drug possession.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at approximately 7:52 p.m., an officer from the Norfolk County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop and initiated an investigation on Norfolk Street North in Simcoe.

After interacting with the driver, the individual was taken into custody without incident. A subsequent search of the driver and vehicle resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected fentanyl.

As a result, 25-year-old Matthew ACUNA of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance – opioid (other than heroin),
  • Fail to surrender licence,
  • Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle,
  • Fail to surrender insurance card.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.

19 Year Old Drunk Driver Arrested

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged following an impaired-related collision investigation near Simcoe.

On Friday, November 14, 2025, at approximately 9:16 p.m., the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck on Concession 13 Townsend, just outside Simcoe.

The investigation determined that the vehicle was travelling along Concession 13 Townsend when it left the roadway, entered a ditch, and struck a tree. No injuries were reported.

Officers located the driver at the scene and, following an interaction, took them into custody without incident.

As a result, 19-year-old Hunter SCHIMPKY of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs,
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),
  • Dangerous operation.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
