3 More Impaired Drivers Arrested

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – Three individuals have been charged in connection with separate impaired driving investigations.

On Friday, February 20, 2026, at approximately 9:47 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported single-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck on Old Highway 24 in Wilsonville.

The investigation determined the vehicle was travelling on Old Highway 24 when it left the roadway and entered a ditch. No injuries were reported.

Officers located the vehicle a short distance away and, following a roadside sobriety test, took the driver into custody without incident.

As a result, 33-year-old Amanda LAND of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),
  • Driver fail to surrender licence.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

On Saturday, February 21, 2026, at approximately 8:23 p.m., a member of the Norfolk County OPP conducted a traffic stop on Cockshutt Road, just outside Waterford, and began an investigation.

After completing a roadside sobriety test, the driver was taken into custody without incident.

As a result, 47-year-old Michael SNIVELY of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),
  • Drive without proper rear light.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Later that evening, at approximately 10:45 p.m., officers responded to a traffic complaint involving a suspected impaired driver on Cockshutt Road, just outside Waterford.

Officers subsequently located the vehicle on Old Highway 24 in Wilsonville. Following an interaction with the driver, the individual was taken into custody without incident. During a search, officers seized a quantity of suspected methamphetamine.

As a result, Joaquin ALARCON SANCHEZ of no fixed address has been charged with the following alleged offences:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs,

·      Possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine,

·      Driving while under suspension,

·      Operate a motor vehicle without insurance,

·      Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle,

·      Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Armed Robbery – Sasha SULLIVAN

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – One individual is facing charges following an attempted robbery investigation in Simcoe.

On Thursday, February 26, 2026, at approximately 6:10 a.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with support from the West Region OPP Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit, responded to a report of an attempted robbery at a business on Queensway West in Simcoe.

The investigation determined that shortly after 6:00 a.m., a female suspect entered the business, demanded money from an employee while brandishing a weapon, and attempted to steal merchandise. The attempt was unsuccessful, and the suspect fled the scene on foot.

Officers subsequently located the suspect at a residence on Queen Street North in Simcoe and took the individual into custody without incident.

As a result, 25-year-old Sasha SULLIVAN of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Robbery with violence,
  • Assault with a weapon,
  • Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose,
  • Carrying concealed weapon,
  • Disguise with intent,
  • Mischief – renders property dangerous, useless, inoperative or ineffective.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Friday, February 27, 2026.

Bradley REANEY Was Arrested Again

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual is facing charges following an investigation into a suspected break-and-enter in Simcoe.

On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at approximately 5:48 a.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspected break-and-enter at a residence on Kent Street North in Simcoe.

Officers attended the location and conducted a search of the residence, where an individual was found inside the home. The individual was then taken into custody without incident.

As a result, 41-year-old Bradley REANEY of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Unlawfully in dwelling house,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

Michael HARRIS & Bradley MATTHEWS – Drunk Driving

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – Two individuals have been charged following separate impaired driving incidents.

On Saturday, February 14, 2026, at approximately 1:19 a.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on James Street in Simcoe.

Following a roadside sobriety test, the driver was taken into custody without incident.

As a result, 55-year-old Bradley MATTHEWS of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Later that day, at approximately 10:48 p.m., an officer on patrol observed a motorist travelling at a high rate of speed on Queensway East in Simcoe.

A traffic stop was conducted, and following a roadside sobriety test, the driver was taken into custody without incident.

As a result, 35-year-old Michael HARRIS of Thames Centre has been charged with the following alleged offence:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Edward WILLS – Assault With Weapon, Etc.

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual is facing multiple weapons-related charges following an investigation into a disturbance in Simcoe.

On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at approximately 8:01 a.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting that an individual armed with an edged weapon was causing a disturbance at an address on Colborne Street North in Simcoe.

Officers located the individual in the area and took them into custody without incident. A subsequent search resulted in the seizure of two prohibited weapons.

As a result, 39-year-old Edward WILLS of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Assault with a weapon,
  • Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose,
  • Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition – two counts.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Jason EVERETS Was Arrested Again

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual is facing charges following an investigation into a suspected break-and-enter in Simcoe.

On Friday, February 6, 2026, at approximately 1:42 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspected break-and-enter at a residence on Norfolk Street North in Simcoe.

Officers attended the scene and conducted a search of the residence, during which they located an individual inside the home. The investigation determined that damage had been caused to the interior of the residence, and the individual was taken into custody without incident. No other persons were present inside the residence at the time.

As a result, 53-year-old Jason EVERETS of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Unlawfully in dwelling house,
  • Mischief – destroys or damages property,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – Two individuals have been charged following separate impaired driving incidents.

On Friday, February 6, 2026, at approximately 6:40 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a 9-1-1 call regarding a suspected impaired driver on Queensway West in Simcoe.

Officers located the vehicle and engaged with the driver, who was subsequently taken into custody without incident.

As a result, 34-year-old Robert SHARPE of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs,
  • Dangerous operation,
  • Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order,
  • Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Monday, February 9, 2026.

Later that day, at approximately 7:51 p.m., officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck on Schafer Side Road, just outside of Delhi.

The investigation determined the vehicle was travelling along Schafer Side Road when it left the roadway and entered a ditch. No injuries were reported.

Officers located the vehicle at the scene and, following an interaction with the driver, took the individual into custody without incident.

As a result, 55-year-old Waldemar KUZNIAR of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs,
  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

Joshua HANNES Was Arrested Again – Assault, Etc.

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged following an assault investigation in Windham Centre.

On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at approximately 1:03 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault at a property on Windham East Quarter Line Road in Windham Centre.

The investigation determined that an interaction occurred between two individuals on the property, during which one individual assaulted the other, resulting in minor injuries.

Officers located the suspect at the scene as they attempted to leave the area in the victim’s vehicle. The individual was taken into custody without incident.

As a result, 36-year-old Joshua HANNES of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Assault with a weapon,
  • Theft of motor vehicle,
  • Driving while under suspension,
  • Fail to comply with Probation order – two counts.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

John CHAMBERS – Drunk Driving

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – Two individuals have been charged following separate impaired driving incidents.

On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at approximately 10:44 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint involving a suspected impaired driver on Middleton-North Walsingham Townline Road, just outside of Langton.

Officers located the vehicle at the scene and, following a roadside sobriety test, took the driver into custody without incident.

As a result, 32-year-old John CHAMBERS of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),
  • Novice driver – B.A.C. above zero,
  • Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

On Friday, February 6, 2026, at approximately 1:43 a.m., a member of the Norfolk County OPP observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 3 in Delhi.

The vehicle was stopped, and following a roadside sobriety test, the driver was taken into custody without incident.

As a result, 35-year-old Curtis LLOYD of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),
  • Speeding – 1-49 km/h over posted speed limit,
  • Driver fail to surrender licence,
  • Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.

Infant Murdered

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Norfolk County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one individual in connection with a sudden death that has been deemed a homicide in Port Rowan.

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at approximately 1:50 p.m., officers were called to a residence on Front Road, where an infant was located deceased.

As a result of the investigation, on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, a 16-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with second degree murder, contrary to section 235(1) of the Criminal Code.

The accused, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.

The Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit is continuing the investigation, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service. Assistance is also being provided by the OPP Forensic Identification Services.

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged following an impaired driving investigation in Simcoe.

On Friday, January 30, 2026, at approximately 7:24 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Orchard Avenue in Simcoe.

Officers located the vehicle and, following an interaction with the driver, took the individual into custody without incident.

As a result, 38-year-old Colin KRAGTEN of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs,
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Meth Bust – Matthew BRISSEAU

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged with multiple offences following a joint investigation by the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Preventing Auto Theft Unit (PATU) and the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU).

On the morning of Wednesday, January 28, 2026, members of the Norfolk County OPP PATU and Haldimand/Norfolk OPP CSCU executed a search warrant at a property on St. Andrew Street in Port Dover in connection with an investigation into stolen property.

An individual was located on the property and taken into custody without incident. During a search of a residence on the property, officers seized a quantity of firearms and ammunition, as well as suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Photographs of the seized items are attached for reference.

As a result, 31-year-old Matthew BRISSEAU of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order – five counts,
  • Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device, or ammunition – four counts,
  • Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose – four counts,
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm – two counts,
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm – two counts,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance – opioid (other than heroin).

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Friday, January 30, 2026.

Drug Bust: Jahvon LASALLE & Kairos LIDDIARD-COULL

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – Two individuals have been charged following a drug trafficking investigation led by the Haldimand/Norfolk Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU). One of the accused is also facing several additional charges related to a firearm-related incident on Kent Street North in Simcoe.

On Friday, January 16, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m., members of the OPP Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad arrested two individuals at a Baldwin Street location in Tillsonburg, Oxford County, in connection with a Norfolk County drug trafficking investigation led by the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP CSCU. One of the individuals was also wanted on an outstanding warrant after being identified as a suspect in an incident involving a firearm at a residence on Kent Street North on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

During a search of the individuals, officers seized suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine, along with Canadian currency and a loaded firearm.

As a result, 25-year-old Jahvon LASALLE of Brantford, Ontario, has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Forcible confinement – three counts,
  • Robbery using firearm (restricted or prohibited) – two counts,
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm – two counts,
  • Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose – two counts,
  • Possession of firearm contrary to prohibition order – two counts,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order – two counts,
  • Disobeying order of court – two counts,
  • Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court,
  • Pointing a firearm,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin),
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine,
  • Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code,
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada.

Also charged is 21-year-old Kairos LIDDIARD-COULL, of no fixed address, with the following alleged offences:

  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm,
  • Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin),
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order,
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada.

The accused remain in custody and are scheduled to attend a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Christopher TAYLOR Was Arrested Again

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged in connection with a shoplifting incident in Simcoe.

On Monday, January 12, 2026, at approximately 8:45 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported theft at a business on West Street in Simcoe.

The investigation determined that the individual entered the store, concealed merchandise, and left the premises on foot without making any attempt to pay.

Officers later located the suspect on Kent Street North in Simcoe and took the individual into custody without incident.

As a result, 34-year-old Christopher TAYLOR of no fixed address has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Theft under $5,000 – shoplifting,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Richard WIGHT Was Arrested Again

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged following an investigation into a mischief incident in Simcoe.

On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at approximately 8:19 p.m., a member of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol when they observed an individual enter a business on Norfolk Street South in Simcoe. While inside the establishment, the individual was seen interfering with an appliance.

The individual was subsequently taken into custody without incident. Further investigation determined that a quantity of Canadian currency had been stolen during the incident.

As a result, a 34-year-old Richard WIGHT of no fixed address has been charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Mischief – obstructs, interrupts or interferes with the lawful use, enjoyment or operation of property,
  • Theft under $5,000,
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order (two counts).

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
