17 Year Old Deceased Following Collision

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Middlesex County OPP investigating a fatal collision in Middlesex Centre.

On September 29, 2025, at 1:04 p.m., emergency services including members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and Middlesex Centre Fire, were dispatched to Medway Road between Adelaide Street North and Richmond Street, Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of a serious collision involving two vehicles.

Early investigation revealed a sport utility vehicle (SUV) travelling eastbound, crossed the centre line and collided with a grain truck travelling in the westbound lane.

The driver of the SUV, a 17-year-old of Thorndale, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the grain truck suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team are on scene to assist with the investigation.

Medway Road is anticipated to remain closed for the next few hours.

Adam SINGER Charged With Theft

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Individual from Middlesex Centre charged with theft after shoplifting incident at a local business in Komoka.

On September 18, 2025, at 6:22 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a business plaza on Glendon Drive in Komoka, Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of a theft.

The individual fled the area prior to police arrival, however, through investigation, OPP officers were able to identify the individual.

As a result, Adam SINGER, a 38-year-old of Middlesex Centre, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Theft Under $5000- SHOPLIFTING

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice on November 13, 2025, to speak to the charge.

26 Year Old From South Huron Arrested – Details Released

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing impaired charge after single vehicle collision in Middlesex Centre

On September 14, 2025, at 3:08 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to Highbury Avenue North in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre for the report of a single vehicle rollover.

Investigation revealed a vehicle left the roadway, rolled and came to a stop on its roof.  

The driver fled the vehicle prior to police arrival, however, was located a short distance away on foot.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Nichole MACKINNON, a 26-year-old of South Huron, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on October 29, 2025.

Shirzad AJIR – Sexual Assault

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Individual charged after sex assault investigation in Middlesex Centre.

On August 19, 2025, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address in Middlesex Centre for the report of a sex assault.

The Middlesex County OPP Crime Unit assisted with the investigation.

The victim and accused were known to each other.

As a result, Shirzad AJIR a 47-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Sexual Exploitation

·      Sexual Assault

The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on November 3, 2025.

It is suspected there may be more victims.

TERPSTRA – Drunk Driving

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing Impaired driving charge after collision in Middlesex Centre.

On September 5, 2025, at 5:22 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and Middlesex Centre Fire were dispatched to Vanneck Road at Thody Lane in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of collision involving two vehicles.

Investigation revealed a pickup truck lost control and collided with a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).

There were no injuries reported.

As a result, Harry TERPSTRA, a 56-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – Alcohol

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Dangerous operation

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on October 2, 2025.

34 Year Old From Hensall Arrested – Details Released

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing Impaired driving charge after traffic stop.

On August 29, 2025, at 10:42 p.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while performing a traffic enforcement initiative at the intersection of Nairn Road and Egremont Drive in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, observed a vehicle perform a traffic infraction.

A traffic stop was initiated at which time the driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.

As a result, Stephen TROYER, a 34-year-old of Hensall, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – Alcohol

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Red light – fail to stop

·      Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on September 25, 2025.

On September 5, 2025, at 3:16 p.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol on Vanneck Road in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, observed a suspicious vehicle.

A traffic stop was initiated at which time the driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.

As a result, Douglas PARE, a 32-year-old of Ailsa Craig, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

Brett HARTLIEB – Impaired Operation

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing Impaired driving charge after traffic stop.

On September 3, 2025, at 12:56 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol on Glendon Drive in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, observed a suspicious vehicle.

Jamie LENG Was Arrested Again

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing impaired by drug charge after traffic stop.

On August 19, 2025, at 12:44 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol on Medway Road in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, observed a suspicious vehicle.

The vehicle turned onto Bear Creek Road at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Jamie LENG, a 41-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – drugs

·      Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court

·      Driving while under suspension (two counts)

The accused was held for bail.

On August 4, 2025, at 3:01 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex London Paramedic Service and Middlesex Centre Fire were dispatched to Bodkin Road in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of a vehicle that left the roadway and entered the ditch.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.

As a result, Jay NADEAU, a 47-year-old of Komoka has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

Meth Bust – Allan WALLER-GUEST

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Automatic Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) system assists officer in stopping and charging a driver from Sarnia.

On June 8, 2025, at 10:58 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), while on general patrol on Nairn Road in Middlesex Centre, was alerted by the Automatic Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) system, of a possible suspended driver.

A traffic stop was initiated.

It was determined the driver was suspended and was placed under arrest.

As a result, Allan WALLER-GUEST, a 27-year-old of Sarnia, has been charged under Criminal Code, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Highway Traffic Act and Liquor Licence Control Act with:

  • Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code
  • Poss of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid (other than heroin)
  • Poss of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
  • Driving while under suspension (two counts)
  • Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available

The accused was held for bail.

The In Car Camera and ALPR have been operating in Middlesex County OPP vehicles since March 13, 2023. Middlesex OPP officers continue to see drivers operating vehicles that do not have valid, registered licence plates, are currently driving unlicenced, while under suspension or prohibited.

On June 14, 2025, at 11:56 p.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) – Highway Safety Division (HSD) while travelling on Mitchell Line in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, performed a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle.

Michelle BLUE Was Arrested

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – An individual is facing charges after theft investigation in Middlesex Centre.

On May 20, 2025, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address on Oxbow Drive in Komoka, Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of a theft complaint.

As a result of the investigation, members from the Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Oxford-Brant CSCU and Middlesex County OPP executed a search warrant at a residence on Wonderland Road in the City of London.

Michelle BLUE, a 43-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada
  • Theft Under $5000

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on July 21, 2025.

22 Year Old From Ailsa Craig Arrested

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Driver facing impaired charge after traffic complaint in Middlesex Centre.

On June 1, 2025, at 7:56 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Elginfield Road in Middlesex Centre.

The vehicle was located at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Zachary REVELER, a 22-year-old of Ailsa Craig, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Liquor Licence Control Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – Alcohol

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Drive motor vehicle – not equipped with ignition interlock device

·      Driver – fail to properly wear seat belt

·      Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on July 31, 2025.
