$4 Million Cocaine Bust – Harmeet DHAMOON

(PLYMPTON-WYOMING, ON) – A London resident is facing drug charges following a coordinated joint investigation that has resulted in a multimillion-dollar drug seizure in Lambton County.

On December 23, 2025, just before 1:30 p.m., an Ontario Ministry of Transportation commercial motor vehicle inspection prompted members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the Lambton County Community Street Crime Unit and the Border Enforcement Security Task Force, to attend the MTO scales located off Highway 402 in the Township of Plympton-Wyoming.

Police seized approximately 137 kg of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of $4,110,000, a quantity of Canadian and U.S. currency and other offence-related items.

Harmeet DHAMOON, 43-years-old of London, is charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following offences:

·      Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

·      Import Schedule I Substance – Cocaine

The accused has been remanded into custody until December 30, 2025.

Belgrave Cocaine Bust

(NORTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a London, Ontario resident with criminal offences following an incident in the Township of North Huron on November 13, 2025. 

Just before 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, Huron County OPP officers attempted to stop a vehicle near the Village of Belgrave in North Huron. The vehicle driver failed to stop and fled from police. Officers were able to locate the vehicle abandoned near a residence on Currie Line. Police located two individuals walking in the area. The driver admitted to failing to stop for police and was subsequently arrested. A quantity of suspected cocaine was hidden near the abandoned vehicle and seized by police.

Kyle WILSON, 30 years-of-age from London has been charged with:

–      Flight from Peace Officer,

–      Possession of Schedule I Substance – Cocaine.

The involved vehicle was towed from the scene.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on March 09, 2026.

Drug Bust – Hamzah RIFIA

(ELGIN COUNTY, ON) – One person was charged following a drug investigation and the execution of a search warrant at a home in the City of London.

On Thursday, December 18, 2025, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed a search warrant for a residence in the City of London in relation to an investigation in Elgin County. The warrant was executed with the assistance from West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit, West Region Emergency Response Unit, Bail Support Team and the following CSCU units: Brant-Oxford, Essex, Grey-Bruce, and Lambton.

Police seized large quantities of suspected cocaine, two handguns and over $50,000 in Canadian currency.

As a result of the investigation, police charged, 28-year-old, Hamzah RIFIA of London under the Criminal Code with:

·      Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon at Unauthorized Place

·      Careless Use of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or Ammunition

·      Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act)

The accused has been held for bail and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in London on Monday, December 22, 2025.

Security Guard Fraud – SHARMA, SHARMA & SHARMA Arrested

(TORONTO, ON) – Ontario’s Serious Fraud Office (SFO) has charged three people in connection with a complex fraud scheme to help secure the employment of security guards in long-term care homes.

In July 2024, the SFO began an investigation into the falsification of employment eligibility documents being provided on behalf of individuals in order to expedite their placement as security guards in long-term care facilities in Ontario.

As a result of the investigation, three individuals have been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code:

Vishal SHARMA, age 28 of London, is charged with:

·      Fraud over $5,000

·      Utter forged document

Jatin SHARMA, age 22 of London, is charged with:

·      Fraud over $5,000

·      Utter forged document

Deepika SHARMA, age 34 of London, is charged with:

·      Fraud over $5,000

·      Utter forged document

The accused have been released from custody are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in London on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

James SHAW – Drunk Driving

(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a London, Ontario resident with an impaired driving offence following a traffic stop on November 02, 2025, in the Municipality of Huron East. 

Just after 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 02, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle on London Road in Huron East. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation.

The accused provided breath samples before a qualified Intoxilyzer Breath Technician at the Huron County OPP detachment in Clinton. Breath samples provided to police resulted in readings over the legal limit.

James SHAW, 67 years-of-age from London has been charged with:

–      Impaired Operation – Over 80.

The accused was additionally charged with an offence found in the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on December 15, 2025.

Kevin JEE Facing Numerous Charges

(LONDON, ON) – Driver facing multiple charges as a result of OPP Festive RIDE Program.

On November 24, 2025, at 11:18 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were engaged in a Festive Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Highway 401 at Veterans Memorial Parkway in the City of London.

A vehicle entered the RIDE program at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

Approximately one kilogram of suspected cocaine was located and seized from within the vehicle.

As a result, Kevin JEE, a 32-year-old of Windsor, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Liquor Licence Control Act and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with:

·      Poss of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 – in Canada

·      Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

·      Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available

·      Operate a motor vehicle without insurance

The accused was held for bail

Festive RIDE is an annual police enforcement and education initiative aimed at taking impaired drivers off Ontario roads during the holiday season. This year’s Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police Festive RIDE Campaign runs from November 20, 2025, to January 1, 2026.

On November 24, 2025, at 12:41 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while travelling through the City of London on Sunningdale Road East, observed a suspicious vehicle, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Laith HAJOU, a 22-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

Aurora CASTILLO – Drunk Driving

On November 15, 2025, at 7:27 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to the westbound lanes of Highway 401 at Elgin Road in the Municipality of Thames Centre for the report of a possible impaired driver.

The vehicle was located, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.  

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Aurora CASTILLO, a 74-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on January 5, 2026.

19 Year Old Facing Numerous Charges – Marcus TSANOFF

(LONDON, ON) – Suspicious vehicle complaint leads to multiple charges.

On November 12, 2025, at 5:52 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a suspicious vehicle driving erratically at the London OPP detachment, at 823 Exeter Road in the City of London.  

The vehicle fled the area at which time a traffic stop was initiated on Wellington Road South.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Marcus TSANOFF, a 19-year-old of Welland, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act, Liquor Licence Control Act and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

·      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

·      Dangerous Operation

·      Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition

·      Drive motor vehicle – Perform Stunt

·      Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available

·      Poss of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid (other than heroin)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on December 18, 2025.

Don Thomas – Drunk Driving

(SOUTH-WEST OXFORD, ON) – An individual from the City of London is facing a impaired driving charge following a traffic complaint.

On November 8, 2025, at approximately 2:00 a.m., the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were dispatched to a report of a possible impaired driver, on Plank Line, in the Township of South-West Oxford. Officers patrolled and subsequently located the vehicle.

Don Thomas, 26-years-old, of the City of London, has been charged with:

·      Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on December 16, 2026.

Fatal School Bus Collision

(LONDON, ON) – Police are investigating a single-vehicle collision, involving a school bus on Highway 401 in London.

Members of the Middlesex Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with the London Police Service, London-Middlesex Paramedic Services, and the London Fire Department, responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 401 westbound, west of Veterans Memorial Parkway, in the City of London.

At approximately 9:40 a.m., emergency services were called to the scene involving a school bus carrying 42 passengers, including secondary school-aged students. The bus left the roadway, resulting in a single-vehicle collision.

Four passengers were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the bus, a 52-year-old male from the Waterloo Region, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

With the assistance of the London Police Service, a temporary Emergency Operations Centre was established at the East Lions Community Centre to reunite passengers with their families.

The Middlesex OPP is continuing to investigate the cause of the collision with the assistance of the OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team.

As a result, Paul STEWART, a 43-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:

  • Driving while under suspension
  • Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in London on November 27, 2025, to speak to the charges.

Yasmine Baguley – Drunk Driving

(INGERSOLL, ON) – An individual from London is facing impaired driving charges after entering a reduce impaired driving everywhere (RIDE) program.

On October 19, 2025, at approximately 2:00 a.m., members of the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were conducting a RIDE program on Bell Street, in the Town of Ingersoll.  

A vehicle entered the RIDE program and subsequently underwent roadside screening.  

Yasmine Baguley, 26-years-old, of London, has been charged with:

·      Operation while Impaired – Alcohol

·      Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a 7-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on November 25, 2025.

Robert Gratton Facing Numerous Charges

(TILLSONBURG, ON) – An individual from London is facing multiple charges stemming from a report of a stolen vehicle, that was recovered in Norfolk County.

On October 15, 2025, at approximately 12:00 a.m., members of the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were dispatched to Broadway Road in the Town of Tillsonburg to a report of a stolen vehicle. Police later received a report of a vehicle that matched the description driving erratically.

The vehicle was located Brant County near Maple Grove and Highway 24, where Brant OPP detachment members attempted to stop the vehicle, however the vehicle fled and failed to stop.

The vehicle was later located on McDowell Road in Simcoe. Norfolk OPP detachment members, with the assistance of the vehicles telematics system, were able to safely stop the vehicle. The driver was subsequently taken into custody.

Robert Gratton, 50-years-old, of London, has been charged with:  

·      Operation while Impaired – Drugs

·      Operation while Prohibited under the Criminal Code

·      Dangerous Operation

·      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

·      Flight from peace officer

·      Theft of motor vehicle

·      Possession Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000

·      Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

Also seized was approximately 3 grams of suspected Methamphetamine.

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) was initiated as per statute.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and has since been remanded into custody.
