Bradley BROSSEAU: Hit & Run, Drunk Driving, Etc.

(LAKESHORE, ON) – One person has been charged following a collision in Lakeshore.

On February 15, 2025, at approximately 8:07 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision in the Municipality of Lakeshore.

Bradley BROSSEAU, 20-years-old of Tecumseh, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

• Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

• Dangerous Operation

• Failure to stop after accident

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Windsor on February 18, 2025, to answer to the charges.

Jeremy DECKER: Impaired Driving

(LAKESHORE, ON) – One person has been charged with impaired driving after a traffic stop in Lakeshore.

On February 17, 2025, at approximately 1:44 a.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on County Road 22 in the Municipality of Lakeshore. 

Jeremy DECKER, 45-years-old of Lakeshore, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act offences:

• Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

• Driver -Fail to surrender licence

• Obstruct Plate

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Windsor on March 4, 2025, to speak to the charges.

Jacobo BUECKERT – Drunk Driving

(LAKESHORE, ON) – One person has been charged with impaired driving following a traffic complaint in Lakeshore.

On February 10, 2025, at approximately 7:53 p.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a traffic complaint on Gracey Side Road in the Municipality of Lakeshore. 

Jacobo BUECKERT, 56-years-old of Wheatley, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

• Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Windsor on February 25, 2025, to speak to the charges.

Kyla MCPHEDRAN – Impaired Driving

(LAKESHORE, ON) – One person has been charged with impaired driving following a traffic stop in Lakeshore.

On February 11, 2025, at approximately 2:22 a.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Lakeshore Detachment, conducted a traffic stop on County Road 22 in the Municipality of Lakeshore. 

Kyla MCPHEDRAN, 34-years-old of Windsor, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

• Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Windsor on February 20, 2025, to speak to the charges.

John DILLON – Drunk Driving

(LAKESHORE, ON) – One person has been charged with impaired driving following a traffic stop in Lakeshore.

On February 2, 2025, at approximately 1:24 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Lakeshore Detachment, were dispatched to the Westbound lanes of Highway 401, Municipality of Lakeshore, for a report of a single-vehicle collision. 

John DILLON, 57-years-old of Windsor, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

• Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

There were no injuries reported.

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Windsor on February 11, 2025, to speak to the charges.

35 Year Old Arrested For Drunk Driving

(LAKESHORE, ON) – On February 3, 2025, shortly after 3:50 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Lakeshore Detachment responded to a report of a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 77 in Comber, Municipality of Lakeshore.

The driver was transported to hospital by Emergency Medical Services with non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger was treated at the scene.

As a result of the investigation, Abraham GOERTZEN, a 35-year-old of Alberta, was charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired- alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Assault with intent to resist arrest

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on February 19, 2025, in the City of Windsor.

Highway 77 was closed for several hours to allow for the repair of a hydro pole that was damaged during the collision. The roadway has since been reopened.

Madison PELTIER – Drunk Driving

(LAKESHORE, ON) – On February 2, 2025, at approximately 2:50 a.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Lakeshore Detachment, while on general patrol on County Road 42, near Lakeshore Road 123, Municipality of Lakeshore, conducted a traffic stop.

As a result, Madison PELTIER, a 22-year-old of Lakeshore, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and the Highway Traffic Act with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Disobey stop sign – fail to stop
  • Driver fail to surrender licence

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on February 13, 2025, in the City of Windsor.

Lingum NOYADOO – Drunk Driving

(LAKESHORE, ON) – Impaired driver is arrested at a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) checkpoint.

On January 31, 2025, at approximately 11:00 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Lakeshore Detachment conducted a traffic stop to check sobriety of the driver at a RIDE checkpoint on Old Tecumseh Road, Lakeshore.

As a result of the investigation, Lingum NOYADOO, 42-year-old of Belle River, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offence:

  • Operation While Impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on February 13, 2025, in the City of Windsor.

Michelle LARUE-SMITH Was Arrested

(LAKESHORE, ON) – A driver was arrested after police located a vehicle pulled onto the shoulder on Puce Road in the Municipality of Lakeshore.

On January 24, 2025, at approximately 9:20 a.m., the Essex County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a damaged vehicle being driven erratically on County Road 22 in Lakeshore.  

Police located the vehicle on the shoulder of Puce Road in Lakeshore.

Michelle LARUE-SMITH, 54-years-old of Lakeshore is charged with the following offences:

  • Operation While Impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
  • Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
  • Dangerous operation

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on February 6, 2025.

Blake BAIN – Drunk Driving

(LAKESHORE, ON)- On January 11, 2025, at 1:52 a.m., a member of Lakeshore Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol when they observed a vehicle being operated by a suspected impaired driver on County Road 22 near Beechwood Drive, Municipality of Lakeshore.

The officer conducted a traffic stop and upon speaking to the driver determined that they had previously consumed alcohol. As a result, they were arrested and transported to a local OPP detachment.

Blake BAIN, a 25-year-old of Lakeshore, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to speak to the charges on January 28, 2025.

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

18 Year Old Drunk Driver Arrested

(LAKESHORE, ON)-On January 3, 2025, at 2:40 a.m., members form the Lakeshore detachment Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on 1st Street near Railway Avenue in Belle River, Municipality of Lakeshore.

Officers arrived on scene and spoke to the driver of the vehicle. As a result, the driver was arrested and transported to a local OPP detachment.

Ethan COURNOYER, an 18-year-old of Lakeshore, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·        Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to speak to the charges on January 21, 2025.

RUSTAMOV Was Arrested

(LAKESHORE, ON)-On January 4, 2025, at 9:28 p.m., members of the Lakeshore Detachment Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint on County Road 22, Municipality of Lakeshore.

A good Samaritan called 911 to report a suspected impaired driver and remained with the vehicle that had come to a stop on County Road 22.

Officers arrived on scene and arrested the driver; they were transported to a local OPP detachment.

As a result, Rustam RUSTAMOV, a 40-year-old of Windsor, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·        Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·        Resist Peace Officer (Two Counts)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to speak to the charges on January 17, 2025.

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

68 Year Old Arrested At RIDE – Details Released

(LAKESHORE, ON)- On January 2, 2025, at approximately 12:08 a.m., the Lakeshore Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Puce Road, Municipality Lakeshore

Police spoke to a driver and determined that the driver’s ability to operate the motor vehicle was impaired.

The driver was arrested for impaired operation and transported to a local detachment where they completed a series of tests before an OPP Drug Recognition Expert (DRE)

As a result of the investigation, Anthony BYRNE, 68-years-old from Lakeshore, has been charged with:

·        Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on January 21, 2025.

The involved vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

Loaded Firearm Located – 2 Arrested – Names Released

(LAKESHORE, ON) – On December 14, 2024, just after 8:00 p.m. members of the Lakeshore Detachment Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of two individuals in possession of a firearm in the area of Industrial Drive in Comber, Municipality of Lakeshore.

Officers attended the area and an investigation was initiated. A loaded firearm was recovered. As a result, two individuals were arrested and charged with multiple offences.

Malaik ALLEN, 25-year-old resident of Whitby was charged with:

·        Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order

·        Failure to comply with undertaking

·        Careless storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or ammunition

·        Transport firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition in a careless manner

·        Possession of Prohibited device or ammunition for Dangerous Purpose

·        Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm

·        Occupant of Motor Vehicle knowing there was Firearm

·        Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was prohibited device or ammunition

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Elijah SANDY, 26-year-old resident of Whitby was charged with:

·        Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm

·        Failure to comply with undertaking

·        Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order

·        Careless storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or ammunition

·        Transport firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition in a careless manner

·        Occupant of Motor Vehicle knowing there was Firearm

·        Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was prohibited device or ammunition

·        Possession of Prohibited device or ammunition for Dangerous Purpose

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Michelle CIPPARONE – Drunk Driving

(LAKESHORE, ON) – Police located and arrested an impaired driver while on patrol in the Belle River.

On December 14, 2024, at approximately 2:21 a.m., a member of the Lakeshore detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on general patrol in Belle River when a vehicle caught their attention and conducted a traffic stop on Notre Dame Avenue

As a result, Michelle CIPPARONE, 38 years-of-age of Lakeshore, was charged with the following:

·                     Operation While Impaired -Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Windsor on January 7, 2025.
