Domenic CORSINI – Drunk Driving

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – A driver was arrested at a RIDE check in Haldimand County.

On December 5, 2025, at approximately 11:10 p.m., members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a RIDE check on King Street East, Hagersville.

A vehicle entered the spot check, and the driver was spoken to by one of the officers.

  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on January 20, 2026.

Dwayne GALLANT – Drunk Driving

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – An individual was taken into custody following a traffic complaint on Ojibway Road, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.

On November 29, 2025, at approximately 10:45 p.m., the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver.

The vehicle was located, and a traffic stop was initiated.

Dwayne GALLANT, 48-years-old of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, has been charged with the following offence:

  • Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on January 13, 2026.

Paul Saric – Drunk Driving

(HALDIMAND, ON) – On November 19, 2025, Haldimand County OPP were conducting a stationary ride program at First Line, in the County of Haldimand. 

Upon stopping a vehicle and speaking to a male driver, police administered an approved roadside screening device test which resulted in a “fail”.

Following a police investigation, Paul Saric a 64-year-old male of Caledonia, was taken into custody and charged with the following offences:

  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga.

The OPP continues to prioritize road safety through proactive enforcement and public education. Impaired driving-whether by alcohol or drugs-remains one of the leading causes of serious collisions and fatalities on Ontario roadways.

Jeremy LORD Was Arrested For Theft

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – An individual has been arrested following a report of shoplifting from a business in Dunnville.

On November 17, 2025, at approximately 4:00 p.m., members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a theft on Queen Street.

The investigation determined that an individual was located and taken into custody for an unrelated theft investigation. The accused was later arrested for the new charge.

Jeremy LORD, 26-years-old of Dunnville is facing a court date to answer to the following offences:

  • Theft Under $5000 (two counts)

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on December 30, 2025.

AI Used To Track Down & Arrest Shayne GRAHAM

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – A driver is facing charges after an Automated Licence Plate Reader (ALPR) notification alerted police in Haldimand County.

On November 16, 2025, at approximately 9:35 p.m., a member of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on general patrol and was alerted by the ALPR of a traffic infraction on Indiana Road.

A traffic stop was initiated; however, the driver fled the scene. Police later located the individual, and they were subsequently taken into custody.

Shayne GRAHAM, 53-years-old of York has been charged with the following offences:

  • Dangerous Operation
  • Flight From Peace Officer
  • Operation While Prohibited Under the Criminal Code (three counts)
  • Failure to Comply with Release Order (two counts)
  • Drive While Child Passenger Not Properly Secured
  • Driving While Under Suspension (five counts)
  • Use Plate Not Authorized for Vehicle

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on November 20, 2025.

Taryn GULOTTA – Drunk Driving

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – A driver is facing charges following an investigation in Caledonia.

On Nov 1, 2025, at approximately 12:35 p.m., members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a disturbance on Argyle Street, Caledonia.

The investigation determined that an individual arrived at that location and was possibly driving impaired but had left the scene.

Police located the vehicle soon after and a traffic stop was conducted.

Taryn GULOTTA, 43-years-old of Haldimand County has been charged with the following offences:

  • Operation While Impaired
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
  • Failure to Comply with Release Order (two counts)

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on November 7, 2025.

17 Year Old Repeat Offender Facing Assault & Firearm Charges #3Strikes

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – On September 25, 2025, at approximately 4:20 p.m., members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a weapons complaint on Railway Street, Hagersville.

The investigation determined that two people under the age of 18 years of age, were involved in an altercation earlier that day.

As a result, a 17-year-old youth has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

·        Pointing a Firearm

·        Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition

·        Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm

·        Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose

·        Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm

·        Carrying Concealed Weapon

·        Uttering Threats – Cause Death of Bodily Harm

·        Assault

·        Failure to Comply with Release Order – Other than to Attend Court

The youth’s identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on a later date.

HALDIMAND: 3 Drivers Arrested on Same Weekend for Impaired Driving #OPP

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – Three drivers were arrested over the weekend and charged with impaired.

On September 27, 2025, at approximately 2:10 a.m., members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a vehicle that brought attention to police while on patrol on Highway 6, near Hagersville.

The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop, however the vehicle failed to acknowledge the efforts of police. Once the vehicle was stopped, the individual was taken into custody.

Matthew FRUM, 57-years-old of Hagersville has been charged with the following offences:

  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
  • Drive Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor
  • Fail to Stop for Police
  • Class G1 Licence Holder – Unaccompanied by Qualified Driver

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on October 14, 2025.

On September 27, 2025, at approximately 11:25 p.m., Haldimand OPP conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation On Mackenzie Road, near Caledonia.

The driver was subsequently placed under arrest.

Darryl KONING, 40-years-old of Caledonia has been charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on October 21, 2025.

On September 28, 2025, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Haldimand OPP conducted a traffic stop on 4th Line, near Hagersville.

Nathan FRISCOLANTI, 21-years-old of Caledonia has been charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on October 28, 2025.

18 Year Old Arrested After Attempting To Flee From Police

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – An individual is facing charges after fleeing from police.

On September 26, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m., members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a traffic complaint on Haldimand County Highway 54, near Caledonia.

Police located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The driver, and lone occupant fled the scene at a high rate of speed but was located soon after and placed under arrest.

Jacob BURMAN-LINDSTEAD, 18-years-old of Six Nations of the Grand River has been charged with the following offences:

·        Dangerous Operation

·        Flight from Peace Officer

·        Driving While Under Suspension

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on October 28, 2025.

South Drive Raid: Drugs, Cash, Imitation Firearms Seized — LINDSAY Charged

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual is facing charges following a drug trafficking investigation in Simcoe led by the Haldimand/Norfolk Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU).

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, at approximately 6:13 a.m., members of the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP CSCU executed a search warrant at a residence on South Drive in Simcoe.

During the operation, one individual was taken into custody without incident. A search of the residence led to the seizure of suspected cocaine, ecstasy (MDMA), Canadian currency, drug-related paraphernalia, and two imitation firearms.

A photograph of the seized items is attached for reference.

As a result, 43-year-old Marcus LINDSAY of Norfolk County was charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – other drugs,
  • Possession of a property obtained by crime under $5,000,
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada,
  • Possession of imitation weapon for dangerous purpose – two counts.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

Brendan JONES Was Arrested

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged following an investigation into a public intoxication incident in Simcoe.

On Sunday, September 21, 2025, at approximately 2:12 p.m., members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspected intoxicated person on North Main Street in Simcoe.

Officers located the individual nearby and, following an interaction, took them into custody without incident. While in police custody, however, the individual physically assaulted an officer. No injuries were reported.

As a result, 45-year-old Brendan JONES of Haldimand County was charged with the following alleged offences:

  • Being intoxicated in public place,
  • Assault a Peace Officer.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

The OPP reminds community members that under the Liquor Licence and Control Act, 2019, it is illegal to be intoxicated in public places where the general public is invited or allowed access, or in any shared areas of residences with multiple dwellings.

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – Three drivers were charged in Haldimand County over this past long weekend.

On August 29, 2025, at approximately 8:30 p.m., members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic compliant on Kohler Road, Lakeshore.

The vehicle was located, and a traffic stop was conducted.

Brian BOULTON, 64-years-old of Selkirk has been charged with the following:

·        Operation While Impaired

·        Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

On August 29, 2025, at approximately 9:50 p.m., Haldimand OPP received a report of a single vehicle collision on North Shore Drive, Dunnville.

Maria LOZANO MESTRE, 50-years-old of St Catharines has been charged with:

·        Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

On August 31, 2025, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Haldimand OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Kyler Court, Caledonia.

Tyler BEAUVAIS, 27-years-old of Caledonia has been charged with the following:

·        Operation Causing Bodily Harm

·        Operation While Prohibited

All accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario court of Justice in Cayuga on later dates.

James TUPPER Was Arrested Again #3Strikes

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – Two individuals were arrested following a traffic stop in Haldimand County.

On August 27, 2025, at approximately 1:40 p.m., members of the Haldimand Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) along with the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) squad conducted a traffic stop on Lilac Circle, Caledonia.

The driver was identified as an individual who was wanted on outstanding warrants and subsequently taken into custody.

Further investigation determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen, and as a result, the passenger was also taken into custody.

A quantity of illicit drugs, Canadian currency and the vehicle was seized.

James TUPPER, 47-years-old of Caledonia has been charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Operation While Prohibited Under the Criminal Code (five counts)

Jeniene GUIGUE, 37-years-old of Caledonia has been charged with the following offence: Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000

Both accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on October 7, 2025.

19 Year Old Deceased Following Collision

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – A single vehicle crash has closed Haldimand Highway 54 between Onondaga Townline Road and Harrison Road.

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at approximately 12:26 a.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment, Haldimand County Fire Department and Haldimand County EMS responded to a collision at Haldimand Highway 54.

It has been determined that a motor vehicle left the roadway and stuck a guard rail. The vehicle then rolled over coming to rest in the ditch. The lone occupant, a 19-year-old of Wilsonville sustained serious life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.

West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team is assisting with the investigation and is asking anyone who was travelling on Haldimand Highway 54 between Onondaga Road and Townline Road and witnessed the collision – or has any relevant information – to contact the Haldimand County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

$55 Million “Drug” Bust

(HALDIMAND COUNTY) – Several individuals were arrested following an illicit cannabis grow operation investigation in Haldimand County.

On July 16, 2025, members of the Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team (PJFCET), West Region Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Emergency Response Team (ERT), OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), and several OPP Community Street Crime Units (CSCU), executed a Cannabis Act search warrant at a property on Highway 3, Jarvis.

More than 100,000 cannabis plants and over 900 pounds of dried cannabis bud as well as a large quantity of marihuana processing equipment and other property was seized.

The total value of seized cannabis is estimated to be over $55 million dollars.

The following individuals are charged under the Cannabis Act with Production – Cultivate Cannabis Without Authorization and Possession for the Purpose of Distribution: 

·        Thi BACH, 46 -years-old

·        Thi CU, 58-years-old

·        Minh HOANG, 56-years-old

·        Dung LEVAN, 54 years-old

·        Chang LIN, 55-years-old

·        THI LUU, 48-years-old

·        Hong NGUYEN, 48-years-old

·        Minh NGUYEN, 53-years-old

·        THI NGUYEN, 45-years-old

·        Trong NGUYEN, 24-years-old

·        Trung NGUYEN, 38-years-old

All of the accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on a later date.
