Cocaine Bust – SIMMONDS, MILLS, WILSON, WILSON, VINCEANTHONY, HUTSON & VOSS

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – A month long investigation has led to seven people facing extensive drug and firearm related charges.

On Thursday, February 26, 2026, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), and officers from the Durham Region Police Tactical Unit, executed search warrants on residences on Dundas Street in Napanee and Mount Pleasant Avenue in Whitby. Following a search of the residences, police located just over 16 grams of suspected fentanyl, just over 1 kilogram of suspected cocaine, just under 50 Percocet tablets, a fully loaded handgun and ammunition, just under $20,000 in mixed Canadian and American currency and approximately $40,000 in jewelry from proceeds of crime. Officers also seized cell phones, scales and materials associated with drug trafficking.

Jermain SIMMONDS, a 33-year-old from Whitby was charged with:

  •  Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking – two counts
  • Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of Percocet for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Careless storage of a firearm
  • Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Possession of firearm contrary to a prohibition order
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Conspiracy to commit indictable offence
  • Operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited

Karen MILLS, a 35-year-old from Whitby was charged with:

  • Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking – two counts
  • Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of Percocet for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Careless storage of a firearm
  • Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Conspiracy to commit indictable offence

Dionne WILSON, a 55-year-old from Whitby and Charles WILSON, a 36-year-old from Whitby were charged jointly with:

  •  Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Careless storage of a firearm
  • Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Jayden VINCEANTHONY, a 24-year-old from Pickering, Justin HUTSON, a 42-year-old, from Napanee and Sarah VOSS, a 39-year-old, from Tyendinaga were charged jointly with:

  •  Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of Percocet for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
  • Conspiracy to commit indictable offence

VINCEANTHONY was additionally charged with failing to comply with a probation order.

Six accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on February 27, 2026.

Dionne WILSON was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee at a later date.

Alexander CROWN Facing Numerous Charges

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – One individual has been charged with multiple offences after a stolen vehicle was stopped.

On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, just before 9:00 a.m., an officer with the Lennox and Addington County OPP was on general patrol on Highway 401 in Greater Napanee when they observed a vehicle bearing a licence plate that did not appear to be authentic. The vehicle proceeded to accelerate at a high rate of speed and exit the highway before losing control on County Road 41 near Goodyear Road in Greater Napanee.

The accused was subsequently placed under arrest. Investigation revealed the vehicle to have been stolen.

As a result, Alexander CROWN, age 27, of Toronto was charged with:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
  • Dangerous operation
  • Possession of break in instruments
  • Possession of a credit card
  • Failure to comply with release order – four counts
  • Breach of recognizance – two counts
  • Driving while under suspension
  • Drive motor vehicle – no licence
  • Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available
  • Use plate not authorized for vehicle
  • Drive motor vehicle, fail to display two plates
  • Permit use of plate not in accordance with act

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Male Located Deceased Following Fire

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – One person is deceased after a house fire in Napanee.

On Saturday, February 7, 2026, shortly before 9:30 p.m. members of the Lennox and Addington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the scene on Switzerville Road.

Napanee firefighters were already battling the fire and reported that people were potentially trapped in the house.

Two men, aged 59 and 34, were able to escape from the home. The 59-year-old man had jumped from a second-floor balcony to escape the smoke and flames. He was transported to hospital in critical condition. The 34-year-old was not seriously hurt.

A 65-year-old male was unaccounted for. All three men were residents of the home.

Human remains were located inside the residence by firefighters. A postmortem examination will be conducted to confirm the identity.

Firefighters remained on the scene overnight and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.

Cocaine Bust – Robert PAMMETT

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – One person has been charged after a seizure of illegal drugs in Napanee.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) began an investigation into drug trafficking in the area this fall and had identified an individual believed to be selling cocaine.

On Thursday, December 18, 2025, officers with CSCU, assisted by members of the Lennox and Addington County OPP Detachment, located and arrested the individual on Bridge Street East. Officers seized nearly 13 grams of suspected cocaine.

Robert PAMMETT, age 39 of the municipality of Trent Hills, has been charged with:

  • Possession of schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Mischief-renders property dangerous, useless, inoperative or ineffective

The accused was held for a bail hearing, scheduled before the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on Friday, December 19, 2025.

Meghan THOMPSON Was Arrested

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – One person has been charged after a seizure of drugs in Napanee.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) began an investigation into drug trafficking in the area this fall.

On Thursday, December 18, 2025, officers with CSCU, assisted by members of the Lennox and Addington County OPP Detachment, executed a search warrant on John Street.

Officers seized nearly four grams of suspected methamphetamine, as well as items typically associated with drug trafficking.

Meghan THOMPSON, age 37 of Greater Napanee, has been charged with possession of schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on January 27, 2026.

Kaesi RENAUD Was Arrested

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – An individual, wanted on multiple arrest warrants, has been taken into custody in Greater Napanee, with officers also seizing illegal drugs.

Officers with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and Lennox and Addington Detachment located the individual in the area of Mill Street East just after 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. The person was taken into custody without incident.

During the arrest officers located suspected fentanyl and suspected methamphetamine, as well as items associated with drug trafficking.

Kaesi RENAUD, age 40 of no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of possession of Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking

The outstanding arrest warrants included charges for robbery and theft, as well as for failing to appear in court and failing to comply with release orders.

The accused was remanded in custody following a bail hearing this afternoon on today’s charges as well as the outstanding charges. The bail hearing is scheduled to resume on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

Joshua BULGER – Attempt Murder, Threats, Etc

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – A disturbance in Napanee has led to one male being arrested and facing extensive criminal charges.

On Saturday, November 8, 2025, shortly before 6:00 p.m. the Lennox and Addington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was notified by L&A County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) of an injured person in a residence in Napanee. Police attended the scene and one person was transported to a local trauma centre hospital with serious injuries.

Following an extensive police investigation, Joshua BULGER, a 49-year-old, from Napanee was charged with:

  • Attempt to commit murder
  • Forcible confinement
  • Aggravated assault
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Assault cause bodily harm – choke, suffocate, strangle
  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm

The accused is currently in custody awaiting a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee at a later date.

Teens Arrested In $300,000 Prison Drone Drop Interception

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – A multi-agency investigation has led to two people facing extensive drug related charges.

On Thursday, October 9, 2025, Correctional Service Canada, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit, and officers from the East Region Tactics and Rescue Unit, initiated a joint investigation after receiving information of a possible contraband drone drop at the Millhaven Correctional Institution. Officers located the suspect vehicle near the institution and following an investigation, two parties were arrested. Following a search of the vehicle and occupants, police located approximately 120 grams of suspected ecstasy, just under 150 grams of suspected cannabis, just over 40 grams of suspected shatter, just over 270 grams of suspected hash, just over 100 grams of tobacco as well as a ceramic blade. Officers also seized cell phones, a drone and materials associated with a drone delivery. The seized items have an estimated institutional value of just over $300,000.

Taha OULIDI, an 18-year-old from Terrebonne, Quebec and Liyess RAKIBE, a 19-year-old from Repentigny, Quebec were charged jointly with:

  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Mischief endangering life
  • Possession of ecstasy for the purpose of trafficking
  • Delivers contraband to an inmate
  • Distribute over 30 grams of dried cannabis

OULIDI was additionally charged with failing to comply with a release order and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

 Both accused were held in custody following a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on October 10, 2025.

Hero Stops Attempted Abductoin – Alysha BOURDEAU Arrested AGAIN!

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – An accused has been arrested and held for a bail hearing following a serious incident during a youth soccer game.

On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, the Lennox and Addington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called by a member of the public after a female smashed the window of a vehicle, threatened to kill bystanders and attempted to abduct a 12-year-old youth attending a soccer game at Kinsman Field on Raglan Street in Napanee. A parent attending the game intervened and the child was safely removed from the situation prior to the involved person fleeing on foot. The accused, known to police, was located nearby and arrested.

Alysha BOURDEAU, a 31-year-old from Napanee is charged with the following:

  • Utter threats to cause death
  • Assault with a weapon – two counts
  • Abduction of person under 14
  • Mischief – destroys or damages property – two counts
  • Fail to comply with probation order – eight counts

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on August 7, 2025.

Fentanyl Bust – Paul CATENA

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – A search warrant in Greater Napanee has led to two people facing charges.

On Thursday, July 10, 2025, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit, officers from the Emergency Response Team (ERT), officers from the Lennox and Addington County OPP Detachment and the OPP Canine Unit, attended a residence on Dundas St West to execute a search warrant.

Police located just over 185 grams of suspected fentanyl, just under three grams of suspected methamphetamine, just under one gram of suspected cocaine as well as just over $1500 in Canadian currency, cell phones, scales and packaging material associated with drug trafficking.

Paul CATENA, a 39-year-old from Napanee and Nicole HILLSON, a 37-year-old also from Napanee were charged jointly with:

  • Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of proceeds of crime under $5000

CATENA was additionally charged with two counts of breach of probation.

CATENA was held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on July 11, 2025.

HILLSON was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on August 19, 2025.

James BROOKS Was Arrested Again

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – Lennox and Addington County Detachment members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person with dangerous driving and multiple other offences following an investigation in Greater Napanee.

On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, shortly before 4:00 p.m., L&A County OPP was contacted after a Quinte West OPP officer observed a single vehicle collision on Palace Road and the driver fled on foot from the scene. With assistance from the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) as well as the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine Unit, OPP located the driver of the vehicle.

 James BROOKS, a 41-year-old from Loyalist Township was charged with:

  • Dangerous driving
  • Breach of probation order
  • Driving while suspended
  • Fail to remain

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on August 5, 2025.

Brady BOWEN – Drunk Driving

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person following a complaint in a parking lot.

On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, shortly before 5:00 p.m., L&A County OPP members attended the parking lot of a Greater Napanee business after a member of the public observed the driver pouring alcohol into a cup. Police located the vehicle and the driver was arrested. Breath testing at the detachment showed alcohol levels that were nearly four times the legal limit.

Brady BOWEN, a 35-year-old from Greater Napanee, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – over 80 mgs of alcohol

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on July 8, 2025. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded.

Repeat Offenders Arrested Again

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – A search warrant in Greater Napanee has led to three people facing charges.

On Thursday, May 15, 2025, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit, and officers from the East Region Tactics and Response Unit, attended a residence on Palace Road to execute a search warrant. Officers located just over 32 grams of suspected methamphetamine as well as a loaded .22 caliber rifle, over 350 rounds of ammunition and just under $3,000 in cash.

Matthew LESSARD, a 36-year-old from Greater Napanee, Kiersha WHITE, a 35-year-old from Greater Napanee and Douglas WOOD, a 36-year-old from Belleville, were charged jointly with:

  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
  • Proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
  • Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking

LESSARD and WOOD were additionally charged with failing to comply with an undertaking and failing to comply with a probation order. WHITE was additionally charged with failing to comply with a probation order.

All three accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on May 16, 2025.

31 Year Old From Brockville Arrested – Details Released

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – Lennox and Addington County Detachment members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person with impaired driving and multiple provincial offences following a vehicle stop on the 401 Highway.

On Thursday, May 15, 2025, at noon, L&A County OPP members observed a motorcycle stopped on the shoulder of the 401 Highway on-ramp at Deseronto Road. Police conducted an investigation.

Kristopher HALL, a 31-year-old from Brockville, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – drug
  • Driving while under suspension
  • Use plate not authorized
  • Have care or control of a vehicle with cannabis readily available
  • Operate a motor vehicle without insurance

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on June 3, 2025. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded.

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – Lennox and Addington County Detachment members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person with impaired driving and dangerous driving following a two vehicle collision.

On Friday, March 21, 2025, shortly before 11:00 p.m., L&A County OPP members attended the scene of a collision between a vehicle and a parked car on Beverly Street in Greater Napanee.

David CURRIE, a 51-year-old from Napanee was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – drug
  • Dangerous operation

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on April 8, 2025. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded.
