Do You Recognize This Theft Suspect?

(GRAND BEND, ON) – Police are investigating a theft from a business in Grand Bend.

On August 7, 2025, just after 5:00 p.m., the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a theft from a business on Main Street, Grand Bend.

Two unknown individuals entered the store, concealed two bottles of alcohol, and left the premises without making payment.

A photograph of one of the individuals has been attached for reference.

The investigation is ongoing.

Lambton OPP is asking anyone who may recognize the individual or who may have information related to this incident to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.

Caitlin DELEON BRETT – Drunk Driving

(GRAND BEND, ON) – The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested an impaired driver at a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) checkpoint.

On July 4, 2025, shortly after 6:00 p.m., members of the Lambton County OPP conducted a traffic stop to check sobriety of the driver at a RIDE checkpoint on Main Street West, Grand Bend.

As a result of the investigation, Caitlin DELEON BRETT, 34-year-old of Toronto, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and the Highway Traffic Act with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Driving while under suspension
  • Driver – fail to properly wear seat belt
  • Novice driver – B.A.C. above zero

A seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on September 8, 2025, in the City of Sarnia.

Tonia LANGILLE – Drunk Driving

(GRAND BEND, ON) – One individual has been charged with impaired driving following a traffic stop in Grand Bend.

On June 21, 2025, at approximately 5:15 p.m., while conducting bicycle patrol, a member of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Queens Avenue in Grand Bend.

As a result of the investigation, Tonia LANGILLE, 26-year-old of Grand Bend, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Operate a motor vehicle without insurance

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on July 22, 2025.

Lauren DIANIS NUNEZ – Drunk Driving

(GRAND BEND, ON) – On December 14, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Ontario Street at River Drive in Grand Bend.

As a result of the investigation, Lauren DIANIS NUNEZ, 36-year-old of Port Franks, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Drive motor vehicle, no permit
  • Fail to surrender insurance card

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on January 13, 2025, in the City of Sarnia to speak to the charges.

Surinder SINGH – Drunk Driving

(GRAND BEND) – A traffic complaint led to an individual being charged with impaired driving in Grand Bend.

On July 20, 2024, at approximately 9:12 p.m., the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a possible impaired driver leaving an address on Beach Lane, Grand Bend.

Police located the vehicle and driver shortly thereafter.

As a result of the investigation, Surinder SINGH, 29-year-old from Waterloo, was charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with the following:

  • Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Driving while under suspension

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on August 29, 2024, in the City of Sarnia to speak to the charges.

Matthew GRANTHAM – Drunk Driving

(GRAND BEND, ON) – Officers swift response to a dangerous driving incident resulted in the discovery and arrest of an impaired driver.

On July 21, 2024, just after 2:30 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Government Road, Grand Bend.

As a result of the investigation, Matthew GRANTHAM, 40-year-old of Strathroy-Caradoc Township, was charged with the following:

  • Operation while Impaired- alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Dangerous operation
  • Mischief – renders property dangerous, useless, inoperative or ineffective

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on August 26, 2024, in the City of Sarnia to speak to the charges.
