Robert YOUNG – Drunk Driving

(GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – A Flesherton resident is facing impaired driving and other charges following a single motor vehicle collision on 8th Concession A, west of Grey Road 2 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

On October 29, 2025, at approximately 3:28 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of a single motor vehicle collision. The vehicle had three occupants, all of whom sustained minor injuries.

Robert YOUNG, 30-years-old, of Flesherton, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Drive No Licence – Highway Traffic Act
  • Dangerous Operation – Highway Traffic Act
  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol – Criminal Code
  • Operation While Impaired (80 Plus) – Criminal Code

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment were initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on November 20, 2025.

20 Year Old From Mount Forest Airlifted Falling 20 Foot Fall

(FLESHERTON, ON) – On September 22, 2025, at approximately 2:35 p.m., members of the Grey Bruce OPP, Grey Highlands Fire Department, and Grey County Paramedic Services responded to a workplace incident at a property on Durham Street in Flesherton.

A 20-year-old individual from Mount Forest fell approximately 20 feet while working at the location. The individual was transported to a local hospital and later transferred by Ornge Air Ambulance to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
