(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – A Kitchener driver is arrested following a traffic stop for erratic driving behaviour.
On November 22, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop after observing erratic driving behavior on Jones Baseline outside of Fergus. Police located a quantity of drugs within the vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, Yusuf LIBAN, a 30-year-old from Kitchener, is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Possession of a schedule I substance – opioid (other than heroin)
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on January 2, 2026.
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
