Emeleo COLE – Drunk Driving

(ATIKOKAN, ON) – Members of the Rainy River District Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged one individual with impaired operation.

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, members of the Atikokan Detachment of the OPP witnessed a side-by-side off-road vehicle driving erratically, Officers also noticed that the driver of the off-road vehicle was not wearing a helmet.

Following an investigation into the incident, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle was impaired.

As a result, Emeleo COLE, age 31 of Letellier, Manitoba has been charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.

The OPP remains committed to taking alcohol/drug-impaired drivers off our roads through enforcement and public education.
