(HURON EAST, ON) – An investigation conducted by officers from the Huron-Perth Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs, a weapon, and offence-related property. A Huron East resident has been charged.
An investigation initiated by members of the Huron-Perth CSCU led investigators to an address in the Municipality of Huron East. OPP officers from the Huron-Perth CSCU and members from the Huron OPP detachment assisted with the investigation.
On Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, a search warrant was executed in Huron East, which resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs, a CO2 bb gun, cash, and offence-related property.
A quantity of suspected methamphetamine and oxycodone was seized. The total value of the illegal drugs seized is over $10,200.
Additional Canadian currency, offence-related property including, a weigh scale, packaging, cellular phones, and imitation firearm seized by police totaled $1,945.
Amy SEIDLE, 46 years-of-age from Huron East has been charged with:
- Possession of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine,
The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on December 29th, 2025.
