(LONDON, ON) – Driver facing refusal charge after traffic stop on Highway 401.
On October 29, 2025, at 2:04 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol in the westbound lanes of Highway 401, the in the City of London, observed a suspicious vehicle, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.
The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.
As a result, Michael JANOZESKI, a 31-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
ยท Failure or refusal to comply with demand
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on November 25, 2025.
The Middlesex OPP wants to remind the public that if you see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver you should contact the Ontario Provincial Police or your nearest police authority immediately.
