(LAURENTIAN VALLEY TWP., ON.) – The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a driver after a collision on Highway 17.
On October 7, 2025, just before 10:00 p.m., OPP officers responded to a collision involving two vehicles near the intersection of Highway 17 and Sawmill Road. There were no injuries as a result of the collision. One driver was transported to detachment for testing
Jasmine SHERBAN, 40 years old, of Pembroke was charged with impaired operation.
The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days. They were released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on November 4, 2025.
