(NEW TECUMSETH, ON) – As a result of an ongoing police investigation, members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), have arrested and charged an individual in connection to a fraud investigation.
On August 12 2025, shortly after 12:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to a fraud incident located at 4 King Street North, in Alliston. The complainant advised officers that they believed a customer was attempting to open a bank account with fraudulent documents.
Upon further investigation it was determined that the individual was attempting to open a bank account with a fraudulent ID and fraudulent social insurance card. One female was arrested and found to be in possession of several other pieces of identification that did no belong to her.
As a result Crystallee HOLLIHAN 39-years-old from Scarborough was charged with the following :
- Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Use, deals, acts on forged document- Two counts
- Possession of an identity document- Four counts
- Attempt to commit an indictable offence
The accused has been held for bail and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at a later tome to answer to the charges.
