Jonathan DAVIS Was Arrested Again

(BANCROFT, ON) – Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person following an incident at a meeting facility in the Town of Bancroft.

On August 11, 2025, shortly after 8:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of an unwanted person at a business on Bridge Street West. It was reported that a male attended a function, appeared intoxicated, was verbally aggressive toward staff and members, and repeatedly disrupted proceedings. Staff reported that the behaviour caused them to fear for their safety.

The investigation determined that the accused was bound by two active probation orders with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

As a result, Jonathan DAVIS, 47 years old, of No Fixed Address in Bancroft, has been charged with:

  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order – two counts – contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
