Joshua FAVARO Was Arrested

(SUDBURY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged a driver with impaired driving offences after stopping a vehicle for speeding.

On Tuesday July 1, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the Sudbury Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (T.I.M.E) of the OPP conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle travelling over the posted speed limit of 50 kilometres and hour (km/h) on Region Road 90 (also known as Garson Coniston Road), Sudbury

The driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the OPP detachment for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, Joshua FAVARO, 28 years-of-age, from Sudbury, was charged with, operation while impaired – alcohol and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Wednesday July 30, 2025, in Sudbury.

The driver was issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
