35 Year Old From South Huron Arrested

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a South Huron resident with a criminal driving offence following a traffic stop in the Municipality of South Huron on June 14th, 2025. 

Just before 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in South Huron for a traffic violation. Officers spoke to the driver and determined that they were prohibited from driving as their vehicle was not equipped with an ignition interlock device.

The accused was charged as follows:

Paul SHAW, 35 years-of-age from South Huron has been charged with:

–      Operation while Prohibited.

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for 45 days.

The accused was additionally charged with two offences found in the Highway Traffic Act.

The accused was later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on July 28th, 2025.
