(DUFFERIN COUNTY) – Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an Orangeville resident with impaired driving-related offences following a traffic stop.
On May 31, 2025, shortly after 1:10 a.m., officers from the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a traffic violation on Clara Street in the Town of Orangeville. A traffic stop was conducted, and upon speaking with the female driver, officers observed signs of impairment and initiated an impaired driving investigation.
Jessica RANEY, a 32-year-old female, from Orangeville has been charged with:
• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
• Disobey stop sign – fail to stop
• Possess more than one licence
The accused individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Their driver’s licence was suspended, and their vehicle impounded.
