2 Jump From 2nd Story Window Taken To Hospital

(CLARENCE-ROCKLAND, ON) – The cause of a structure fire in Rockland remains under investigation.

The fire, at a two-storey apartment building on Laurier Street near Edwards Street, was reported on Monday, April 28, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Two people were transported to hospital after they jumped from a second storey window.

The Clarence-Rockland Fire Department extinguished the blaze and ensured no one else was in the building.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Russell County OPP Crime Unit and the Office of the Fire Marshal.
