(PEMBROKE, ON) – The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges against a Pembroke woman after a recent break and enter.
On March 30, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers from the UOV OPP responded to a break and enter in progress at an occupied residence in the 600 block of Pembroke Street West in Pembroke. Entry was gained and a struggle took place between the occupant and the accused. No injuries were reported. Police arrested a female at the scene.
As a result of this incident Chantal ANDERSON, age 35 of Pembroke, was charged with the following Criminal Code (CC) offences:
- Break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence
- Fail to comply with probation order
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on April 22, 2025.
